ProgLink is a wireless adapter for programming Widex hearing aids that is used with Otovations OTOPod M2 diagnostic audiometer. The ProgLink can be added to an existing OTOPod M2 and used with Compass to perform a wireless fitting of Clear and future wireless hear-
ing aids from Widex. WIRELESS .FITTING .WITH .THE .PROGLINK The ProgLink was developed to make wireless programming of Widex hearing aids available for OTOPod users. The ProgLink is plugged into the OTOPods programming ports, and connects with Compass so that Widex hearing aids can be programmed without the need for hearing aid cables. Adding the ProgLink adapter to the OTOPod If necessary, remove the neck string from the plastic clip on each side of the OTOPod Grasp the ProgLink plug and carefully insert it into the top end of the OTOPod where the left and right hearing aid programming cable connectors are located. 2 3 Make sure that the ProgLink unit is positioned correctly, as in the illustra-
tion below. Using THe PrOgLink WiTH cOMPASS First, insert fresh batteries in the hearing aids and turn on the hearing aids. Use the Compass manual to assist in identifying the hearing aids. The Otopod and the ProgLinkTM are handled in the same manner as all other programming units. Please read the Compass manual for further information regarding setup. dETECTING .THE .HEARING .AIdS Place the OTOPod with the ProgLink attached on the table, and place the hearing aids inside the neck loop close to the small black box (as illus-
