(For 12 seconds before turning OFF) 5 Chapter 2 Connecting the Wi-Fi Extender Mini This section describes how to set up your Wi-Fi Extender Mini. 2.1 Setting Up the Wi-Fi Extender Mini 1. Unbox the Wi-Fi Extender Mini. 2. Plug the Extender Mini directly into an outlet so that it is vertically aligned, as shown below on the left. 3. Set up a WPS connection between the Wi-Fi Extender Mini and the 5G Home Router by pressing the WPS button on the Router first and then that of the Extender Mini. Place them so that they are less than a meter apart to make it easier to press these buttons within the allotted 2 minutes in the WPS procedure. The front panel LED light will illuminate blue for two seconds to indicate pairing success. 6 2.2 Backup Pairing Process Should WPS Fail In case WPS fails, follow the following steps to perform paring:
1. Scan the QR code printed on the label on the back of the Wi-Fi Extender Mini and detailed information, as shown in the example below, will be displayed on a results page:
