Regulatory Statements WM205X 5 Regulatory Statements 5.1 FCC Statements This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This module has been approved under FCC part 15C (15.247). This modular transmitter is only FCC authorized for this specific rule part. The host product manufacturer is responsible for compliance to any other FCC rules that apply to the host not covered by the modular transmitter grant of certification. (For example, Part 15 Subpart B) The final host product must be tested for confirmation that the installation for the module into the host is in compliance with regulations of FCC. If testing of the host product with this transmitter installed and operating is necessary (to verify that the host product meets all the applicable FCC rules), a test mode for this module is available upon request to WIZZILAB. The module is limited to OEM installation ONLY. The OEM integrator is responsible for ensuring that the end-user has no manual instruction to remove or install module. The module is for use with external antenna ONLY. The certified antennas include:
(1) Wave Antenna with maximum gain 2.2dBi. (Dipole antenna)
(2) Wave Antenna with maximum gain -1.3dBi. This module has been approved by FCC to operate with the antenna types above with the maximum gain at at the antenna feed of 13dBm. Antenna types not included in this list, having a gain greater than the maximum gain indicated for that type, are strictly prohibited for use with this device. Specially, if an antenna other than the model documented in the Filing is used, a Class 2 Permissive Change must be filed with the FCC. If the end host product is equipped with an external connector, then an unique (non-standard) antenna connector must be used on the transmitter. A list of acceptable non-standard connectors is available upon request from WIZZILAB. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by WIZZILAB could void the users authority to operate the equipment. IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the antenna used for this transmitter must not be colocated or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance 20cm between the radiator and your body. WIZZILAB Technical datasheet 15/17 Regulatory Statements WM205X End Product Labeling:
When the FCC ID is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the enclosed module. This exterior label can be use wording Contains transmitter module FCC ID:
2ARZVWM or Contains FCC ID: 2ARZVWM. End Product Users Manual:
The user manual for end users must include the following information in a prominent location IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the antenna used for this transmitter must not be colocated or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. The equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and the body.
