a thermal receipt printer. It has good printing quality and high stability, which is widely used in POS system, food service industry and many other fields. P58A connects other devices with USB port or Bluetooth. It offers drivers for WINDOWS and LINUX operating systems. The supported operating systems are as below:

Paper thickness: 0.065mm ~ 0.10mm 3.2.2 Printing paper using attention Note:
1) Please use good quality paper, otherwise, it will effect printing quality and even reduce printer head life. 2) Dont make the paper stick on axis. 3) Paper will be fading out or reduced thermal sensitivity if it is polluted by chemical or oil, which will affect printing effects. 4) Dont use nail or hard things to clash printing paper. Otherwise, it will be fading out. 5) Paper will be fading out if the environment temperature exceeds 70C. So, please take notice the temperature, humidity and illumination effects. 7 P58A thermal printer Users Manual 4 Use-methods 4.1 Requirements of installation position 1) Put the printer on a stably place. 2) Let the printer far away from water, fire, and sunlight. 3) Avoid putting it on oscillatory and impassive place. 4) Make sure to connect printer with ground safety 4.2 Preparation before using 4.2.1 Battery installation 4.3 Paper roll loading 4.3.1 Printing paper type confirmation You can load paper roll to print after power ON and connecting communication cables. Please make sure the printing paper type before printing. The default paper type is continuous thermal receipt paper. 4.3.2 Loading or change paper roll 1) Power off the printer;

It will cut off print head power and stop printing if print head is overheat. The print head protection temperature is 80. 10 P58A thermal printer Users Manual 5 Basic functions 5.1 Power ON When the printer is power off, press down [POWER] button and hold for 2 seconds, then the printer will power on and enter working status, and the power indicator light (red). 5.2 Power OFF When the printer is power on, press the [POWER] button and hold for 2 seconds, then the printer will power off the power supply and the power indicator light turns off. 5.3 Print self-test sheet 1) Make sure the printer loaded paper roll correctly. 2) Press down [FEED] button and hold on, then press down [POWER] button to power on the printer, the printer will print a self-test sheet. 5.4 Feed paper When the printer is in normal working condition, press the [FEED] button, then the printer will feed a section paper. 5.5 Battery charging If the printers battery indicator (green) is flickering and print paper is enough, it indicating that the printers battery is about to running out of electricity, if you still want to use the printer, please replaces the printers battery or charges it as soon as possible. For safety reasons, please power off the printer while battery charging. Also, you can use the P58A special charging seat to charge the battery. Support communication with Bluetooth devices using Android systems or Apple systems. Bluetooth connection method: after the printer power on and enter normal work status, search the printer with Bluetooth communications equipment, select the corresponding printer, enter the password "0000" to finish connecting. 5.7 Link to PC via USB cable Connecting to PC by USB cable which attached by printer. If the operation system of PC is Windows XP or above, under normal circumstances no longer need to install the driver. 6 Printing position L1-Paper storehouses width: 580.5mm L2-Effective printing width: 48mm L3-Distance between print head to paper storehouses left edge (fixed width): 40.3mm L4-Distance between print head to paper storehouses right edge (fixed width): 40.3mm L5-Left margin: Default is 4mm L6-Printing area width: it is set by commands (refer to programming manual), default is 48mm.
