Automation - Set up rules for If this then that function. 4 Set Up Garage Door Kit Follow the steps below to set up your garage door kit via YoLink App. Step 1: Set up YoLink App Get the YoLink App from the Apple App Store or Google Play. 5 Step 2: Log in or sign up with YoLink account Open the App. Use your YoLink account to log in. If you dont have a YoLink account, tap Sign up for an account and follow the steps to sign up an account. 6 Step 3: Add controller to YoLink App Tap the in YoLink App. Scan the QR Code on the device. You can customize the name, set the room, add to/remove from favorite. a. Name - Name Garage Door Controller. b. Room - Choose a room for Garage Door Controller. c. Favorite - Click icon to add/remove from Favorite. Tap the Bind Device to add the device to your YoLink account. a b c 7 Step 4: Add sensor to YoLink App Tap the in YoLink App. Scan the QR Code on the device. You can customize the name, set the room, add to/remove from favorite. a. Name - Name Garage Door Sensor. b. Room - Choose a room for Garage Door Sensor. c. Favorite - Click icon to add/remove from Favorite. Tap the Bind Device to add the device to your YoLink account. Pair with a controller. SET a b c 8 Step 5: Install and set up the device Follow the following page to install the device, power it on. And the device is ready to go. SIGNAL SET SET BUTTON CONTROLLER SENSOR 9 Installation Note Please add Garage Door Controller and Sensor to YoLink App before you set them up. Garage Door Controller Locate the 2 power terminals at the left of the controller. You will see 5V+and 5V- on it. Find your adapter and put the red wire of it in the 5V+ terminal. Put the black wire in the 5V- terminal. Now there are 2 terminals named signal to be connected. First, put two wires in these two terminals. Locate the 2 terminals on the back of your garage opener that your button panel wires connect to. Take out the existing button panel wires from the opener, twist it with one from the connecter. Then put the twisted wire back in the terminal of the opener. Repeat the steps to the other wire. It doesn't matter which wire goes to which terminal. You can also connect your controller with your button panel. You will just to do the same thing as it is in step 2. Wiring diagram is shown the next page. 10 Wiring Diagram:

SIGNAL W R 12 Garage Door Sensor Note Please dry clean the area rst. Please stick the sensor at the inside top panel of the Garage Door. Please keep the arrow on the battery cover pointing to the right. Please use the double-side tape to stick the sensor to your garage door and make sure the sensor is stuck tightly. SET TOP PANEL GROUND 13 Automation Automation allows you to set up If this then that rules so the devices can act automatically. Tap Smart to switch to Smart screen and tap Automation. Tap to create an automation. To set an Automation, you will need to set a trigger time, local weather condition, or choose a device with certain stage as a triggered condition. Then, select the response devices or Scenes. 15 Using YoLink App with Garage Door Kit Details You can customize the name, set the room, set the open alert, add to/ remove from favorite, check device history, set pairing with sensor. a. Name - Name your Garage Door Controller. b. Room - Choose a room for your garage door device. c. Open Alert - Set a time which you will able to receive an alert once your door has been open for that long. d. Favorite - Click Add/Remove the device from Favorite. e. History - Check the history log for the garage door. f. Sensor - Tap to go to garage door sensors details. g. Tap Tap the icon for each of the setting you want to personalize. icon at the top-right corner. 14 YoLink Control YoLink Control is our unique device to device control technology. Under YoLink Control, the devices can be controlled without internet or Hub. Devices which send out command is called controller(Master). Devices which receive command and act accordingly is called responder(Receiver). You will need to set it up physically. Pairing Find a garage door sensor as controller(Master). Hold the set button for 5-10 seconds, the light will ash green quickly. Find an action device as responder(Receiver). Hold the set button for 5-10 seconds, the device will enter pairing mode. After pairing is done, the light will stop ashing. When the door is detected to be opened, the responder will be turned on as well. SET SET BUTTON 16 Unpairing Find the controller(Master) garage door sensor. Hold the set button for 10-15 seconds, the light will ash red quickly. Find the responder(Receiver) action device. Hold the set button for 10-15 seconds, the device will enter unpairing mode. The above two devices will unpair by themselves and the light stops ashing. When the garage door sensor is detected to be opened, the responder will no longer turn on. Highly recommend you could update our newest version rmware. Tap the Garage Door in App to go to its controls. Tap the icon at the top-right corner to go to details. Tap Firmware. The light will be slowly blinking green during the update and stop blinking when the update done. Note Only the Garage Door Controller/Sensor that is currently reachable and has an available update will be shown in the Details screen. You have to press the SET button of sensor once when the updating device is a sensor. You will need to update controller and sensor individually . 19 Factory Reset Factory reset will erase all your settings and bring it back to default. After the factory reset, your device will still in your Yolink account. Hold the set button of controller for 20-25 seconds until the LED blinks red and green alternately. Factory reset will be done when the light stops ashing. You may factory reset the sensor following the same procedure. O/C SET SET BUTTON DC5V+
