The Status LED will blink re d o n c e , t h e n g re e n s e ve ra l mes, indicang your device has connected to the cloud and is ready to use SET Buon 1. You will need to press the SET buon once again if the device failed to connect to the cloud 2. Pressing the SET buon at any other me aer this inial process will result in the LED blinking red once, only. This indicates the device is connected to the cloud and is funconing normally 3. If the red LED does NOT blink as noted this may indicate a problem with the sensor. Please see the troubleshoong secon and the contact secon for technical support 5 D. Installaon D-1. Test the Vibraon Sensor Locaon Before Installaon Test your vibraon sensor locaon before axing it to the surface. Use masking or painters tape to secure the sensor to the surface. Once you have the sensor temporarily mounted, test it out. With the app in hand, vibrate the detecon area while obser ving the status of the sensor as shown on the app (Vibraon Detected or No Vibraon Detected). Oponally, you may set up your automaon (e. g. turn on a light on vibraon detecon) to funconally test the vibraon - proceed to the following steps for informaon on creang automaons, then return to this step The vibraon sensor can be installed in several ways. It can be axed to the object via 3M mounng tape (included), it can be mounted to the object via screws (not included), or it can be placed in or on an object. Other methods may void the warranty (e. g. glue, epoxy). You can adjust the device sensivity to reduce false alerts. Determine if the sensivity is too low or too high during your funconal test. If the sensor trig gers false alerts, you can reduce the sensivity. If the sensor does not respond to a condion that should trig ger an alert, increase the sensivity. Aer adjusng the sensivity, always perform a funconal test. The vibraon sensor is not waterproof and is designed and intended only for indoor use 6 D - 2 . To force an immediate update, press the SET buon on the device once to make the device enter update mode You may use your device during the update as it is performed in the background. - If sensor is not connected to the cloud, press the SET buon on Vibraon Sensor once
- If Hub is oine, reconnect the Hub to the Internet and press the SET buon on Vibraon Sensor once
- If Hub is not on, power on the Hub again and press the SET buon on Vibraon Sensor once
- If sensor is out of range with Hub, relocang the Vibraon Sensor or Hub may be required
- For a device with low-baery indicators or alerts or if the condion of the baeries is in queson, replace the baeries with two premium AAA alkaline baeries 2.
