*WARRANTY REGISTRATION Your ZAGG Rugged Book Go comes with a one-year manufacturers warranty. In order to activate the warranty, you must register your Rugged Book Go as well as keep your purchase receipt. If you purchased your ZAGG Rugged Book Go from ZAGG.com, ZAGG has already registered it and has a copy of your proof of purchase. NEED MORE HELP? PLEASE SEE OUR FAQ SECTION AT: www.ZAGG.com/faq INSERTING/REMOVING YOUR DEVICE 1. Hold your device in landscape mode with the volume control buttons facing up. Insert the top half of your device at an angle into the top of the case and apply light pressure to snap it snuggly into place. 2. At the top of the keyboard, there is a hinged magnetic bar with two long teeth at either end. At the bottom of the case, youll see two long slots that will fit the teeth on the magnetic hinge bar. Line the slots up with the teeth and lower the case face down onto the keyboard. You will feel the powerful magnetic bar engage and attach the keyboard and case. 3. You can now open the case and adjust the kickstand on the back to support your tablet at an ideal viewing angle. 4. To easily remove your device from the case, first detach the case from the keyboard. (See directions below.) Then hold the top of the case with one hand and press against the back of the case with the other. Then grasp the exposed side of your device and lift/pull it away from the cover. DETACHING THE CASE FROM THE KEYBOARD Hold one of the top corners of the keyboard in one hand, hold the corresponding top corner of the case with the other hand, and pull the case back away from the keyboard. This will disengage the magnets holding the keyboard and case together. POWERING ON AND OFF 1. To turn your Rugged Book Go on, press the Power button located at the top right corner of the keyboard. A green LED will light briefly. 2. To turn your Rugged Book Go off, press and hold the Power button for three seconds. A red LED will flash indicating it has turned off. PAIRING YOUR RUGGED BOOK GO Your Rugged Book Go can pair with up to two devices at once. Pairing your Rugged Book Go is easy; just follow these instructions. 1. Ensure your devices Bluetooth is on. 2. Press your Rugged Book Gos or keys for three seconds. A 1 2 blue LED light on the Power button will begin pulsing, indicating your Rugged Book Go is in pairing mode. 3. Your device will display ZAGG Rugged Book Go as an available pairing option. Select it and complete any other pairing steps based on your device. 4. To pair your Rugged Book Go to another device, repeat steps 2 and 3. To toggle between devices, simply press or . 1 2 5. Once paired, the LED light under the Power button will stop pulsing and fade to off. Once begun, if the Rugged Book Go doesnt complete pairing after 60 seconds, it will abort the process. If this happens, repeat steps 2 and 3. DISCONNECTING YOUR KEYBOARD Your Rugged Book Go features a case that protects your device even when its not connected to your keyboard. When youd like to use the case without the keyboard, there are three ways you can switch to your onscreen keyboard. 1. Press the Keyboard Hide/Show button. This will disengage the Rugged Book Go keyboard and allow you to use your devices on-screen keyboard. Press the Keyboard Hide/Show button again when you are ready to use your Rugged Book Go keyboard. 2. Turn off the Bluetooth connection from your device. 3. Turn your Rugged Book Go keyboard off. CHARGING Your Rugged Book Go features a powerful lithium polymer battery that lasts up to two years of normal use between charges.* To charge your Rugged Book Go, follow these steps. 1 . Using the cable from your iPad, plug the USB-C connector into the charging port. 2. Plug the USB connector at the other end into any 5V USB outlet. The Power key LED on your Rugged Book Go will light to indicate your keyboard is charging. This LED will turn off when your keyboard is fully charged.
*Normal use is approximately one hour of use per day without the backlit feature. Using the backlit feature will impact battery life and require more frequent charging. BATTERY LIFE To check your Rugged Book Go keyboards battery life, press fn + the battery key. The LED light on the Power key will flash one of the following three ways:
Three green flashes = 50% or more battery life Three yellow flashes = 25-49% battery life Three red flashes = less than 25% battery life SPECIAL FUNCTION KEYS Your Rugged Book Go keyboard has been designed with the following special function keys to give you more control of your device:
1 & 2 MULTI-PAIRING Activates your devices pairing mode. HOME Displays your devices home screen. LOCK Activates and deactivates your devices sleep mode. APPS RUNNING Displays all of the apps currently running on your device. LANGUAGE SYMBOL Toggles between keyboard languages and emojis (if active on your device); pressing cmd + spacebar will do the same. KEYBOARD HIDE/SHOW Hides or shows your devices on-screen keyboard. PREVIOUS TRACK Skips to the previous track on your selected playlist. PLAY/PAUSE Starts or pauses your current playlist. NEXT TRACK Skips to the next track on your selected playlist. MUTE Mutes your devices audio. VOLUME DOWN Decreases your devices volume. VOLUME UP Increases your devices volume. POWER Turns your Rugged Book Go keyboard on and off. BATTERY LEVEL Indicates remaining battery life. FN + BACKLIGHT SYMBOL Activates the backlight feature. FN + COLOR CHANGE SYMBOL Changes backlight colors. (7 possible) TROUBLESHOOTING If your device doesnt respond to the Rugged Book Go keyboard, there may be a simple explanation such as a dead battery or unsuccessful pairing. REPRODUCIR/PAUSA Reproduce o hace una pausa en tu lista de reproduccin actual. SIGUIENTE PISTA Salta a la siguiente pista en tu lista de reproduccin actual. SILENCIO Silencia el audio de tu dispositivo. BAJAR VOLUMEN Reduce el volumen de tu dispositivo. SUBIR VOLUMEN Aumenta el volumen de tu dispositivo. ENCENDIDO / APAGADO - Enciende y apaga tu teclado Rugged Book Go. NIVEL DE BATERA - Indica el nivel de batera restante. FN + SMBOLO DE RETROILUMINACIN Activa la funcin de retroiluminacin de tu Rugged Book Go. Presiona esta tecla una vez para encender la retroiluminacin, presinala dos veces para apagarla. FN + SMBOLO DE CAMBIO DE COLOR - Cambia el color de la retroiluminacin. SOLUCIN DE PROBLEMAS Si tu dispositivo no responde al teclado Rugged Book Go, se puede deber a algo simple como una batera descargada o un error en el emparejamiento. Then, line up your iPad with the holes in the case. Make sure the camera hole is aligned properly as well as the opening for the Lightning cable. When everything is aligned, set the bottom half of your iPad in the cover and apply light pressure to ensure it is properly settled. Snap the top half of your iPad into the cover. Check all corners to make sure they have seated properly. When your iPad is secure in the case, you can connect it with the keyboard by placing it in the magnetic trough. Powerful magnets will secure it in place, but also allow you to remove your iPad any time it benets you. To easily remove your iPad from the case, separate the case from the keyboard, and then gently roll the rubber overmold away from the edges while pressing the tablet from behind. Grasp your tablets exposed side and lift/
pull away from the Slim Book. POWERING ON AND OFF To turn your Slim Book on, press the Power button. A green LED on the battery key will illuminate briey while the keyboard powers up. To turn your Slim Book off, press and hold the Power button for three seconds. A red LED will ash, indicating your Slim Book has turned off. 1 7.
