This device must transmit with a source-based time- averaging duty factor not exceeding 50%. The dipole antenna gain is 1.5dB. Automobile rooftop antennas listed in the filing have maximum gain of 3.0dB. SAR compliance has been established in the laptop computer(s) and PDA configurations with PCMCIA slot configurations (e.g., side near the rear) as tested in this filing, and can be used in laptop computers and PDAs with substantially similar physical dimensions, construction, and electrical and RF characteristics. Compliance of this device in all final host configurations is the responsibility of the Grantee.
