ADTZWM Series Wi-Fi and Z-Wave Module Installation and Setup Guide General Information The Communication Module allows the Control Panel to communicate with the WTS700 Wireless Keypad and Amazon Alexa via Wi-Fi. The ADTZWM communications module is intended to provide compatible ADT Control Panels with a Wi-Fi connection as well as connection with and the ability to control Z-Wave devices. The module connects directly to the Control Panel and is powered via the Control Panels connection. The ADTZWM Series includes models ADTZWM and ADTZWMX. Compatible Control Panels:

ADT7AIO/ADT5AIO Series - Installation Guide P/N 800-24121 or higher. ADTHYBWL Series - Installation Guide P/N 800-24125 or higher. ADT2X16AIO Series Installation Guide P/N 800-24341 or higher. Ensure that all electrical power is removed from the control before installing the module. Unplug the power supply and disconnect the backup battery. 2. 1. Affix the provided FCC/IC label (P/N 800-24286 on the Control Panels case back (refer to Figure 1). If the Control Panel is not powered up proceed to step 5. If the Control Panel is powered up, it must be powered down as follows:

(see Section 15.31(i)). The modular transmitter must be equipped with either a permanently affixed label or must be capable of electronically displaying its FCC identification number.

(A) If using a permanently affixed label, the modular transmitter must be labeled with its own FCC identification number, and, if the FCC identification number is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the enclosed module.
