It continuously tests your water conditions then calculates and guides you when the water needs to be balanced. Know when your pool is ready to dive into or when it requires some attention. The Smart Buoy is designed for chlorine pools and tests key indicators including Free Chlorine, pH, TDS, and Temperature. Install the eufy Security App Search eufy Security on the App Store or Google Play and install the app on your smartphone. Check on the status of your pool water by simply connecting to Smart Buoy via Bluetooth connection. When your pool water is imbalanced, Smart Buoy will provide you with guidance for what actions need to be taken. Giving you instructions as to what chemicals are needed and dosage guidance. Register and sign into the app. Install the Sensor Align the triangles on the Sensor and Smart Buoy. Insert the Sensor into the Smart Buoy and turn it clockwise until the triangle points to the ON position. Key Testing Indicators:

0 - 2000ppm 59 - 86F T F) 1 NO 03 CHARGING THE SMART BUOY Use the provided charging cable to charge the Smart Buoy. 1. Remove the waterproof cap on Smart Buoy. Note: Make sure you keep the cap safe as you will need it to seal the charging port before putting the Smart Buoy into your pool. OFF O N OFF O N NO You will notice the Smart Buoy light starts to flash. Add Smart Buoy to the App Open the eufy Security app and scan the QR code to add the Smart Buoy device. The QR code can be found on the back of the documentation folder or on the bottom of the Smart Buoy device. The arrow on the charging cable should face inwards. Inside O F F Outside Follow the in-app instructions to finish the installation. 04 05 2. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a standard USB port of your spare universal USB charger. The Smart Buoy will flash red, indicating its charging. 3. Once the Smart Buoy flashes green, its fully charged. TETHERING OR MOUNTING THE SMART BUOY (OPTIONAL) Note:
Make sure you seal the charging port with the waterproof cap before putting the Smart Buoy into your pool. Dry the device properly before the next charge. The ideal monitoring spot in your pool is approximately 1.5m away from the water outlet. After locating this spot you can either mount the Smart Buoy using a mounting kit (sold separately) or use the provided rope to tether the device to your pool ladder. To tether the Smart Buoy, use the provided rubber band to tie the rope to the sensor. Then tie the other end of the rope to your pool ladder. To mount the Smart Buoy you must first purchase the mounting kit. Identify the ideal monitoring location and install the mount. Place the Smart Buoy on the mount. 06 07 HOW TO MONITOR WATER QUALITY 1. Make sure you seal the charging port with the waterproof cap before putting the Smart Buoy into your pool. Approximately 45ft 4. The first reading after turning on the device will need some time to calibrate and calculate. The initial Free Chlorine, pH, TDS, and temperature readings will appear after 3 minutes. The overall readings will be available after a few hours when more data is collected. Immerse the Smart Buoy Sensor completely into the water. Shake it slightly to force the bubbles out of the sensor. Trapped bubbles will affect the accuracy of water testing. 3. To refresh the test results, please make sure your phones Bluetooth is enabled. Open the app and it will discover and connect to the Smart Buoy automatically when your phone is within its Bluetooth range. The Bluetooth range is approximately 45ft with an exterior wall in between. When turning the device back on, connect via the bluetooth and press the Start button. 08 09 NOTICE FCC Statement This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
