The rotary knob also sets the volume level. Power/Volume rotary knob is located on left side of the unit. 1.1.2 Mute Button. (short Key) Mute On/Off Operation Mute button will allow the user to toggle between Alert On and the Alert Off. With a received signal present pressing the mute button momentarily turns off the alert. 1.1.3 Dim button. (short Key) Dim level displayed and operation. Pressing on the Dim button will allow the user to change brightness of the screen. Tone Dim level two beeps one beep Dim (At 50% Brightness) one beep Dark with no light indicators except for P Note. When on Dark mode, only P on display will be lit (At 50% brightness) Bright 1.1.4 City button. (short Key) City mode displayed message and operation When a signal is present and when no signal is present, A momentary push of the city button will allow the user to toggle between Highway mode and the city mode. While in city mode, the unit must not give an Audio Alert (remains silent) until the microwave power density of the incoming signal reaches the X-Band City Mode Level.
