OPB3 Patents Pending 4/3/2007 3 BUTTON ACCESS The 3 Button Access is ONLY compatible with the Ultra RX 900-3. Up to 8 3 Button Access units can be taught to 1 Ultra RX 900-3. NOTE: ONLY 1 Ultra RX 900-3 can be taught to 3 Button Access units. A 3 Button Access CANNOT be used to control multiple Ultra RX 900-3 units. Install 4 AA batteries into the 3 Button Access. Pin 5 - Ch 3 Normal Closed TEACHING A 3 BUTTON ACCESS TO AN ULTRA RX 900-3 To place the Ultra RX 900-3 in Learn Mode:
Disconnect the power and wait at least 5 seconds. Reapply the power. (The LED will illuminate until the Learn period has expired. When the Learn period has expired, the Ultra RX 900-3 will buzz.) Within 10 seconds, press the learn button on the 3 Button Access unit. You will hear the RX 900-3 buzz and the 3 Button Access will sound a tone indicating the units have learned successfully. If you have additional 3 Button Access units, they can each be taught within 10 seconds of each other or later by repeating this process. If a 3 Button Access unit was newly taught, the LED on the RX 900-3 will blink 3 times slowly. If NO new units were taught the LED will display 4 blinks, 4 times. Once you are done teaching 3 Button Access units, wait 10 seconds for the Ultra RX 900-3 to leave learn mode. The unit will buzz indicating the Learn period is over and the units are ready to use. POWER SAVE MODE To reduce the power consumption of the Ultra RX 900-3, dipswitch 7 should be on. This will not take effect until a button is pressed on EACH of the learned 3 Button Access units. RELAY HOLD MODE With dipswitch 8 turned ON, the Ultra RX 900-3 will hold a relay, corresponding to the correct button pressed on the 3 Button Access unit, until the button is released. Remove the screw on the back of the unit. Press and hold the LEARN button until the LED double blinks, 3 times.
