\f you have adaptors installed on your car, for some adaptors, you need to connect 8 wires of speakers with adaptors before sending audio signals to the car speakers. However, we recommend that 8 Wires of speakers on the harness be directly connected to the car speakers by skipping the adaptors. With electronic power amplifier Please check the Blue with White stripe wire (AMP
= CON) on the main harnes of the head unit, to ensure that this wire is connected ta the power supply control wire of the power amplifier, so that the power amplifier is on workding normally. Why can't the Steering Wheel Control worked normally?
Please confirm whether your vehicle supports analog steering wheel control (Hereinafter called the SWC) signal output first. Corehan head unit only supports and identifies analog SWC signals. If your vehicle is equipped with
@ car computer or does not support SWC analog signal output, you can find a SWC interface suitable for your car from metraonline.com or from the local Auto Zone,.or contact our technical support. Vehicle supports SWC analog signal output Generally, there are 3 or 2 SWC terminals from car conector in most of the car models. 1. Use a multimeter, switch to resistance mode range 1k - 10k, detect each SWC terminal from TROUBLE SHOOTINGS car connector. The terminal that can detect a resistance when press the button on steering wheel js the SWC terminal(would have 1 or 2 terminals), the other is SWC ground(would have one or none), 2. Connect SWCterminal to (if there are two terminal, parallel connect to) Key 1 SWC wire from head unit harness, and connect the SWC ground to the Ground wire from head unit harness, 3. Set each button in SWC app of the system. Vehcile doesn't support SWC analog signal output Please purchase the appropriate SWC interface
(from metraonlie.com or from local Auto Zone). Cut the 3.5mm male connecters from interface to find 2 SWC wires inside, or plug the 3,5 mm female connector (Refer to figure below). to the 3.5mm connector and get the 2 SWC wires. Then connect the 2 SWC wires to the head unit SWC wire by 3 steps below, i Br. >
BW NOTE After program the buttons in SWC app, if you find two of the buttons from steering wheel have the same feature(even you set different in the app), can try to fix the problem by series connecting a 100 to 1000k resistance to one of the SWC wires from car connector. Refer to the picture below. ag The2SWCwiresfromcar 100.- 1000K resistance connector or SWC interface Key 1 from head unit main hamess
(Orange with Black stripe) Why is the pre-setting information (radio stations, time etc.) lose after each drive?
As shown in Figure below, if the B+ wire (Yelow) on the main harness of the head unit is connected incorrectly, the pre-stored data will lose after the vehicle is shut down for a period of time (mare than half an hour). 1, ACC wire (Red) and B+ (Yellow) are connectting inverselv. . why can't the backlight of the side buttons be it?
Please check the connection of the main harness of the head unit. Please ensure that the Orange wire
(ILL) is connected to the headlight detection wire of the vehicle, When the head unit detects that the car headlights are turned on, it will automatically turn on the backlight of the key. Or you can connect the Orange wire (ILL) to the ACC wire (Red), so the backlight of the key of the head unit will remain turn on every time the vehicle starts.
+ After the rear camera is installed, when switching to reverse gear, why does the stereo not have the rearview image (only black screen)?
Please check and confirm that the CAMERA IN RCA connector on the main harness of the head unit is connected to the rearview camera image output connection connector. If it has been confirmed that the connector js connected correctly but there is still no image, please check whether the rearview camera is working normally, or whether the image output cable of the camera is damaged or defect?
Note Please DO NOT connect the rearview camera image output connector to the VIDEO IN RCA connector from head unit, atherwise no image will be displayed in the head unit reverse display mode.

TROUBLE SHOOTINGS
+ After the rear camerais installed, why does the stereo not switch to rearview image mode when switching to reverse gear?
Please check whether the Brown color wire
(BACK-CAR) inthe main harness of the head unit is connected to the positive pole of the backup light through the trigger wire? (See page 6) Ifthe connection is correct, but the problem still exists, please check the following two points:
1. Whether the trigger wire is damaged or defect?
Check if the Brown color wire (BACK-CAR) can normally detect the voltage from the backup light through the trigger wire when switching to reverse gear. 2. Whether one of the terminal the trigger wire is connected to the positive terminal of the backup light?
DO NOT miss to connect the trigger wire to the brake light, fog light or cornering light.
