-Replacing the Battery To replace the battery, proceed as follows:
Unlock the battery door by sliding the door latch away from the battery door. Slide the battery door away from the housing to remove it. Remove the old battery and insert new one in the direction shown on the battery compartment.
-Battery Back-up Your pager has a backup battery for memory retention during battery replacement. Note: To protect all the memory when you replace the battery, please change old battery to new one quickly. And avoid too much key operation during replacing battery.
