EXRC dragsters dominate the road with superior speed and control. Now that youre an honorary EXRC dragster we recommend reading through this manual thoroughly before attempting your first race. Inside this manual you will find driving control tips, safety precautions and care instructions to keep your EXRC vehicle in tip-top shape. Follow the instructions, and use your EXRC vehicle to feed your need for speed and race toward the checkered flags! Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!
Open the can, detach the can cover and can body. Push the LOCK inside the can cover towards the direction shown to release the 4 ROADBLOCKS. Take the transmitter and mini racer out of the can body. Press the RELEASE BUTTON down. Slide the mini racer in the direction shown to release it. Slide the transmitters battery compartment cover in the direction shown and open it. Insert 2 x AAA or 1.5V LR03 batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -), then replace the battery cover. Insert the CHARGING PLUG to the CHARGING JACK on the bottom of the mini racer. The INDICATOR lights to show charging is in progress. Insert the antenna into the antenna hole on the transmitter and tighten. 2 XC6381IS01EXC.indd 2 6/27/2011 5:35:33 PM The rechargeable battery is built inside the racer. Plug the racer into the correct side of the transmitter. The charging plug is inside a hidden door on the right side of the controller. Charge time is 1-2 minutes. The racer is fully charged when the CHARGING INDICATOR turns off. The racer will run about 3-5 minutes on a full charge. The CHARGING INDICATOR light will be RED when the car is charging. The light will turn off when fully charged. 1. Extend the transmitters antenna for better signal reception. Turn the ON/OFF switch on the mini racer to ON, and place it on the ground. 2. Full Function Transmitter The signal indicator lights up when any button on the transmitter is pressed. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button when the mini racer is running forward or reverse to make it turn left and right. The mini racer lights up its headlights when the transmitters FORWARD button is pressed. The RELEASE BUTTON on the transmitter is used to release the mini racer, which is locked on the transmitter. 3. The DIRECTIONAL GUIDE is used to adjust the mini racers direct-line running performance. INTERFERENCE Some radio frequencies or other R/C units nearby can cause interference and poor performance. Do not disassemble the product for any reason. Do not expose to extreme temperatures. Do not drop, throw, smash or otherwise cause physical shock. Clean using only a slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaners with chemical agents. Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. CAUTION Battery Safety Information Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged Rechargeable batteries must be removed before recharging Rechargeable batteries should only be recharged under adult supervision Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries Exhausted batteries are to be removed Do not mix old and new batteries Do not dispose of product in fire; batteries may explode or leak If this product will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited Batteries are to be inserted with correct polarity Clean the battery contacts and also those of the product prior to battery installation As always, dispose of batteries in an eco-friendly manner from the product FCC Part 15 Compliance The device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
