There must be supervision by an adult when school children under 10 are using this tablet. Please provide a thorough explanation to all students on safe and proper handling of the tablet and power cord. Be sure to keep the power cord away from young children. Please ensure that students understand and follow these precautions to reduce the risk of serious injury or death from electric shock, fire, or other hazards:
This device is an educational tool and not a toy. The tablet and power cord should be handled properly and not be dropped, crushed, stepped on or otherwise abused. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. The teacher, parent or adult supervisor should periodically inspect the tablet, charger and power cord for damage. If there is any damage, remove the tablet from use and contact the Service Center. Students should report any damage (including cracked screen) or loose parts to their teacher, parents or adult supervisor immediately. Do not leave the tablet plugged in or on when enclosed in a non-vented container, such as a school backpack, as overheating may occur. Instead, turn off the device or place it in sleep mode. Long-term exposure to loud sounds at high volume may result in permanent hearing loss. When using headphones or earbuds, listen at lower volumes for short periods of time. Set the volume while in a quiet environment. Turn the volume down if you cannot hear people speaking near you. The louder the volume, the less time is required before your hearing may be affected. If you experience ringing in your ears or hear muffled speech, stop listening and have your hearing checked. The tablet must be used with the supplied charger only. Dont place near fire or other sources of heat. Dont expose to magnetic fields. Dont expose to rain or moisture. Dont place heavy objects on the tablet. 2 Dont drop the tablet. Dont eat or drink near the tablet. Dont spill liquid of any kind on the tablet as it may render it inoperative. Dont submerge the tablet in water. Dont expose the tablet to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight. Dont try to dismantle the tablet.
