To get the most from your new Rino, take time to read through this owners manual in order to understand all of the operating features. This manual is organized into four sections. The Introduction section provides FCC and safety information and the Table of Contents. The Getting Started section introduces you to the Rino features, main operating pages and basic navigation methods. The Reference section provides details about using the features of the Rino according to topic. The explana-
tions for each feature in this section are divided into:

GMRS Licensing FCC Compliance The Rino 120 complies with Part 15 of the FCC regulatoins and with Canadian ICES-003 for Class B digital devices. Although the GARMIN GPSMAP 182C is a precision electronic NAVigation AID (NAVAID), any NAVAID can be misused or misinterpreted and, therefore, become unsafe.
