OWNERS MANUAL FISH BAIT BOAT Battery requirement
- Your Fish Bait Boat operates with 6 D-cell Alkaline Batteries or 2 Ni-Cd (Nickel Cadmium) 7.2 VDC rechargeable batteries. The 6 D-cell batteries supply 9 VDC and the 2 Ni-Cd batteries supply 7.2 VDC to the Boat.
- The 1.5 VDC D-cell is an off-the-shelf item which will operate your Fish Bait Boat for 6 continuous hours.
- Ni-Cd Batteries are very economical and can be recharged up to 1,000 times. Your Fish Bait Boat can be continuously operated for 1 and 1/2 hours. Ni-Cd must be 7.2 VDC to fit properly in the battery case of the Boat. NOTE: All the batteries must be recycled or disposed properly. Contact your county hazardous waste office for the information. Fish Bait Boat Specifications
- Environmentally safe: Does not use gasoline or oil.
- Your Fish Bait Boat carries your fishing bait to desired spot up to 500 feet from you by radio control. It can also troll in a 500 feet radius around you.
- Your Fish Bait Boat has an individual code combination, therefore, your radio signal will not directly control a neighboring Fish Bait Boat. Interference may occur, however, if two neighboring transmitters are turned on simultaneously(in 1/10 of second). In such an event, simply restart your transmitter to operate it on a different time-domain.
- Your Fish Bait Boat has a line release mechanism which holds your line during travel. Your line will be released when: 1) A fish strikes, or 2) You give a quick, hard tug. You can control the tension of the line release mechanism by altering the position of the spring or the line position in the mechanism, the Clip.
- Your Fish Bait Boat can travel in weeds, leaves, and debris without problems. The Fish Bait Boat has 3 mph speed, which means that the Boat can be operable in the stream that has less than 3 mph speed. FCC DQ) MAY BAIT BOAT Ba
FF Quick and General Tips
- The Fish Bait Boat and Transmitter are sensitive instruments. Handle with care.
- There is no On/Off switch in the Boat. When the battery is connected, the two LEDs on the boat will blink which means that the Boat power is On. When you disconnect the battery, the Boat power is Off. It is the switch of the Fish Bait Boat. When the boat-
power is On, very little energy will be consumed, so it is not necessary to disconnect the battery during an extended fishing trip when the boat is not in use. The transmitter, however, must be Off whenever it is not in use. The 9VDC transmitter battery has only 4 hours of operational time.
- There are two modes in the Boat: Daytime and Nighttime. These modes are controlled by the transmitter. For Daytime mode, simply push the left-turn-button at the moment that you turn on the transmitter. For Nighttime mode, simply push the right-turn-button at the moment that you turn on the transmitter. (The only difference between the Nighttime and Daytime modes is that the LEDs on the boat are constantly lit in the Nighttime mode to help you to control the movement of your boat.)
- When the Boat is connected to the battery and the Transmitter-power is On, push the forward button to turn propellers. When the forward button is pushed for more than 5 seconds, the propellers will move without pushing the forward-button. When you went to stop the Boat, simply push the forward-button once again, and the propeller will stop.
- While the propellers are turning, push the left or right turn-button to turn.
- The LEDs on the Boat will blink in any mode, when the left-and right-turn-buttons are pushed simultaneously. This will help you to know which boat is yours(?), is the power On(?).....etc.
- Whenever the battery is low for the transmitter, the transmitters LED will blink fast, replace the battery.
- Whenever the battery is low for the boat, the boats LEDs will either: 1) blink in nighttime mode, or 2) sound a high pitched alarm in daytime mode. In each case, replace the batteries.
- The Fish Bait Boat can be operated in fresh water as well as salt water. It is designed in such a way that it will immediately flip upright in case it is knocked over by any environmental condition like high waves, wind,...etc. We strongly recommend that the Fish Bait Boat be operated in temperate waters (no waves higher than 2 feet...etc.)
- Your Fish Bait Boat has a 6 month warrantee on parts and labor, and it will be effective after your purchase date. ce DO! MNAIBAT BAT B3 Radio Interference This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
-Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
-Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
-Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
-Consult the dealer for help. Low battery Warning
- When the battery in the Fish Bait Boat is low, there will be two indications to you depending on the Boats mode of operation. In the Nighttime mode, the boats LEDs will blink rapidly. In the Daytime mode, the Boat will sound a high pitched alarm. In either case, replace the batteries.
- When 6 D-Cell are in the Boat, the Boat will still operate up to two hours after the warning signal, but the speed of the Boat will gradually decrease. The slightly premature warning signal will ensure that the Boat will never lose power completely before you are able to replace the battery.
- When 2 Ni-Cd are in the Boat, the Boat will operate only 15 minutes after the warning signal, so WATCH OUT!! After the warning signal, the operator must quickly bring the Boat back home and replace/recharge the batteries. NOTE: Ni-Cd battery has a memory effect, which means that it must be discharged fully before it is recharged. When a Ni-Cd battery is recharged with some charge left in it, it will not recharge fully, which means that the Boat may not work for one and a half hours with that Ni-Cd battery. DISCHARGE BATTERY COMPLETELY BEFORE RECHARGING IT!!!
