In case of any failure occurred, you need to return the device to the factory with the original wrapper. Transportation without the original wrapper may result in damage on the device and lead to additional costs. Improper use or replacement of the battery may result in hazard of explosion. Replace with the same or equivalent type only. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions provided by the battery manufacturer. The lights are behind the panel. You can see the lights when they are on. Solid blue: The doorbell is starting up and running properly. Cycling blue and red: Wi-Fi is not connected. Flashing red: The doorbell is upgrading. Flashing blue: The doorbell is speaking with the app. Solid red: The doorbell is under the low illumination mode. Screw 1&2 These 2 screws are used to connect the power cable. TF Card Slot For TF card. If a TF card is used, snapshots and video les will be stored in the TF card. You would need to initialize it via the Hik-Connect app. RESET Button
. If the doorbell has not been activated, hold down the button for 5 seconds to enter the Wi-Fi connection mode. The backlight indicator cycles blue and red. If the doorbell has activated, hold down the button for 5 seconds to restore the factory settings. 3 4 5 6 Installation 1 Connect the power cable. Loosen the screws on the back panel of the doorbell, and put the loop of the power cable into the screws, and then tighten them. 3 Install the doorbell. 1 2 3 Fix the doorbell body to the installation position with 2 screws. Put the faceplate cover the doorbell body. Use 1 set screw to x the faceplate with the doorbell body. Power Cable 2 Install the TF card. Insert the TF card into the card slot on the side of the doorbell. TF Card 7 2 1 1 3 8 Operations Step 1 Power on the Doorbell Pull power cables from the wall, and connect them with two power cables
(included in the box content) via a power connector. When the blue light is on, the doorbell is powered on. You can activate the doorbell and set the Wi-Fi connection via Hik-Connect app. Power Connector Wall Doorbell The power adapter or the transformer is not included. Step 2 Hik-Connect Setup Connect your mobile device to Wi-Fi. Download and install the Hik-Connect app by searching HIik-Connect in App store or Google PlayTM. OR Launch the app and register for a Hik-Connect user account. Log into Hik-Connect Connect your mobile device to Wi-Fi. Start the Hik-Connect app, and input the Hik-Connect user account to log into the Hik-Connect app.

Step 3 Add Doorbell to Hik-Connect Account 1 2 3 4 Scan QR Code
- In the Home page, tap + on the upper-right corner to add a camera.
- Scan the QR code on the front panel of the doobell body or on the rear panel of the doorbell. Connect Wi-Fi The network connection interface will pop up after scanning the QR code of the doorbell successfully.
- Tap Connect to a Network button.
- Choose Wireless Connection to set the Wi-Fi connection.
- Input the Wi-Fi password that your mobile phone has connected to.
- Tap Next to start the Wi-Fi connection. Activate Doorbell The activation interface will pop up after nishing the Wi-Fi connection.
- Set and input a password to activate the doorbell.
- Tap Activate button in the next interface to nish activating. Link Hik-Connect Account
- Input the verication code of the doorbell in the popup interface after activation.
- Tap OK button to nish adding the doorbell to the Hik-Connect account. Doorbell Functions Via the Hik-Connect app, you can realize some certain functions of the doorbell
(including, but not limited to, live view, and remote playback). Recording Settings interface.
- Check the TF card status by tapping on the Storage Status in the Device
- If the TF card status displays as Uninitialized, tap to initialize it. The status will then change to Normal. You can then start recording any event triggered video in the camera such as motion detection. Alarm Notication Launch the Hik-Connect app and tap Message to see the alarm messages, such as motion detection alarm message. Live View Launch the Hik-Connect app and you can get the live view of the connected devices. Playback Launch the Hik-Connect app, tap a connected device and tap Gallery button to play back. The messages will be pushed automatically by enabling Message Push Notication. The app can receive the triggered alarm automically when the doorbell is powered on by enabling Auto-Receive Alarm after Powering on. 9 10 11 12 13
