Your pirnter name will be followed by (wireless). The HP Wireless 802.11 b/g/ Printer Adapter (802.11 Printer Adapter) uses wireless technology to connect devices without needing a cable. When attached to a printer, the 802.11 Printer Adapter allows you to print to the printer from a wireless PC/Laptop. When you connect the 802.11 Printer Adapter to a wireless enabled HP printer, you can have wireless printing on your network. Connect to a printer For most devices, the default settings will allow you to print without making any changes. Installation and setup Follow these instructions to install and set up your 802.11 Printer Adapter with a printer. Important: You will need the installation CD that came with your printer to install the 802.11 Printer Adapter. Locate the host USB port on your printer. It will often be located in the front and is shaped like the USB port on your computer. It may be called a camera or PictBridge port. 1. 2.
