Hui Zhou Gaoshengda Technology Co.,LTD FCC Modular Approval Request Date: 2018-03-28 To the FCC or FCC TCB handling this application Hereby we, Company name (grantee) Hui Zhou Gaoshengda Technology Co.,LTD Addresss NO.75 Zhongkai Development Area City / ZIP / State / Country Huizhou, Guangdong, China request modular approval for the certification of our equipment within this application, identified by:
FCC ID: 2AC23-WC3XM2001 The table below contains the justification for modular approval of this equipment:
Requirement _ Explanation from grantee (do not write yes / no, but explain why it complies / how it is achieved) 1. The modular transmitter must have its own RF shielding. Yes
(The modular equip with own RF shielding case) 2. The modular transmitter must have buffered modulation/data inputs (if such inputs are provided) to ensure that the module comply with Part 15 requirements under conditions of excessive data rates or over-modulation. Yes
(The modular data inputs are buffered through log or micro-controller connections) 3. The modular transmitter must have its own power supply regulation. Yes
(RF voltage regulation is handled on the module) 4. The modular transmitter must comply with the antenna requirements of Section 15.203 and 15.204(c). The antenna must either be permanently attached or employ a unique antenna coupler (at all connections between the module and the antenna, including the cable).. Yes
(The modular with permanently antenna, the antenna is PIFA Antenna) 5. The modular transmitter must be tested in a stand-alone configuration, i.e., the module must not be inside another device during testing. This is intended to demonstrate that the module is capable of complying with Part 15 emission limits regardless of the device into which it is eventually installed. Yes
(The module was tested stand-alone) 6. The modular transmitter must be labeled with its own FCC ID number, and, if the FCC ID is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the enclosed module. This exterior label can use wording such as the following: Contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: XYZMODEL1 or Contains FCC ID: XYZMODEL1. Any similar wording that expresses the same meaning may be used. The Grantee may either provide such a label, an example of which must be included in the application for equipment authorization, or, must provide adequate instructions along with the module which explain this requirement. In the latter case, a copy of these instructions must be included in the application for equipment authorization. Yes
(Please refer to FCC ID label)
'7. The modular transmitter must comply with any specific rule or operating requirements applicable to the transmitter and the manufacturer must provide adequate instructions along with the module to explain any such requirements. A copy of these instructions must be included in the application for equipment authorization. For example, there are very strict operational and timing requirements that must be met before a transmitter is authorized for operation under Section 15.231. For instance, data transmission is prohibited, except for operation under Section 15.231(e), in which case there are separate field strength level and timing requirements. Compliance with these requirements must be assured. Yes
(Please refer to the modular installation manual) 8. The modular transmitter must comply with any applicable RF exposure requirements. For example, FCC Rules in Sections 2.1091, 2.1093 and specific Sections of Part 15, including 15.319(i), 15.407(f), 15.253(f) and 15.255(g), require that Unlicensed PCS, UNII and millimeter wave devices perform routine environmental evaluation for RF Exposure to demonstrate compliance. In addition, spread spectrum transmitters operating under Section 15.247 are required to address RF Exposure compliance in accordance with Section 15.247(b)(4). Modular transmitters approved under other Sections of Part 15, when necessary, may also need to address certain RF Exposure concerns, typically by providing specific installation and operating instructions for users, installers and other interested parties to ensure compliance. Yes
(Please see the MPE report, the modular meets MPE calculation of 47 CFR 1.107 (b}(1).) Attestation (by grantee) City and Country: Date: Name: Function: Signature:

Care was taken to ensure proper power supply voltages during testing. During testing, radiated emission were performed with the EUT set to transmit at the channel with highest output power as worst-case scenario. It was powered by a 3.3Vdc. Only the worst case data were recorded in this test report. The signal is maximized through rotation and placement in the three orthogonal axes. The antenna height and polarization are varied during the search for maximum signal level. The antenna height is varied from 1 to 4 meters. Radiated emissions are taken at three meters unless the signal level is too low for measurement at that distance. If necessary, a pre-amplifier is used and/or the test is conducted at a closer distance. Therefore, all final radiated testing was performed with the EUT in (see table below) orientation. Frequency Above 1GHz Mode 1TX 1TX 2TX Antenna Port Chain 0 Chain 1 Chain 0+1 Worst-case axis positioning Y axis Y axis Y axis All readings are extrapolated back to the equivalent three meter reading using inverse scaling with distance. Analyzer resolution is 100 kHz or greater for frequencies below 1000 MHz. The resolution is 1 MHz or greater for frequencies above 1000 MHz. The spurious emissions more than 20 dB below the permissible value are not reported. Radiated emission measurement were performed from the lowest radio frequency signal generated in the device which is greater than 9 kHz to the tenth harmonic of the highest fundamental frequency or to 40 GHz, whichever is lower.
