Thread the open end of the hose clamps through the two mounting slots on the back of the WPX9926R/WPX9926RE unit. 2. Align the AP with a vertical pole. 3. Tighten the hose clamp to secure the AP to the pole with a torque wrench. 1 2 3 Drive: 8mm HEX Torque: 5.88 Nm Option 2: Wall Mount 1. Mark locations on a wall surface for the four mounting holes of the mounting bracket. Use an appropriate drill bit to drill holes (Diameter: 6.5mm and Depth: 30mm). 2. Screw the anchors into the holes and then insert the screws through the mounting bracket into the anchors. Tighten the screws to secure the bracket to the wall. 3. Align the WPX9926R/WPX9926RE unit with the mounting bracket. 4. Lock the WPX9926R/WPX9926RE in place with the four screws using a Phillips
#2 screwdriver. Power Options and Cable Connection Instructions Follow one of the options below to power up the WPX9926R/WPX9926RE for configuration. Option 1: 802.3bt-Compliant PoE Switch 802.3bt Compliant PoE Switch 1. Connect the WPX9926R/WPX9926RE to an 802.3bt-compliant PoE switch with an Ethernet cable. 2. Connect a computer to the switch with another Ethernet cable. 3. When the power LED turns into a solid blue light, it is ready for configuration. Option 2: PoE Injector (purchased separately) AC Outlet LAN PoE Injector PoE 1. Connect the PoE injectors ports as follows with Ethernet cables.
- PoE Port: To the WPX9926R/WPX9926RE
- LAN Port: To a computer 2. Connect the PoE injector to the AC power socket using a power cord. 3. When the power LED turns into a solid blue light, it is ready for configuration. 1. Change TCP/IP Setting on Your Computer For Windows 7/Windows 10 users, 1. Go to Control Panel, click Network and Sharing Center and then choose the Ethernet adapter that is in connection with the WPX9926R/WPX9926RE unit. Click it and then click Properties. 2. Under the Networking tab, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) in the list box This connection uses the following items, and then click Properties. 3. Type in the following IP address and Subnet mask:
IP address: 192.168.1.2 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 4. Click OK to close the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box and click OK again to close the adapter Properties dialog box.
