Space requirements for installing a single ISC This ensures normal operation and provides sufficient space for maintenance. Ground installations: Maintain a minimum clearance of 50 cm from the ground, with a recommended distance of 70 cm or more. Non-ground installations: Refer to the provided diagram for the recommended spacing requirements.

ISC Installation 7.2. Handling & installation Before installation, transport the ISC to the site in its packaging. Avoid collisions during transport, handling, and installation. Wear clean gloves and avoid touching connectors or ports with bare hands or dirty gloves. Installation procedure 1. Pre-installation checklist Ensure you understand the required safety standards, power requirements, and necessary tools. Verify that all necessary parts and components are available or identified for procurement. 2. Site preparation Survey the installation site, including support structures. Collect all required parts and tools. Implement necessary safety measures at the site. 3. Mounting the ISC Use the mounting kit to securely attach the ISC to a pole, wall, or a stable support frame. 4. Grounding Connect the grounding cable from the ISC to an appropriate earth conductor. 5. Antenna Connection Attach the antenna cables from the ISC to a certified external antenna. Ensure waterproofing of the antenna cable connectors on both the ISC and the external antenna. The steps are shown at the end of this section. 6. Fiber and Ethernet Connections Install the fiber cable to the SFP+ port and connect it to a fiber termination box. Install an Ethernet cable to connect the RJ45 LAN port to an Ethernet switch. 7. Power Supply Connect the provided power cable to an appropriate power source, depending on the ISC model. Once powered, the units power light will turn on automatically.
