FindersKeypers FindersKeypers Short Story I was in Las Vegas about four months ago meeting with several different performers and magic consultants, sort of the dream team in magic if you will. I showed prototypes of 5 different new product s that I currently have in development. I was I currently have in development. I was looking for advise on which product to looking for advise on which product to move forward with. The decision was unanimous. They all wanted FindersKeypers. They were not saying this is the best of the five products. They really WANTED FindersKeypers. For themselves!
I believe FindersKeypers is the cleanest, most reliable and most motivated which hand device available today. ProMystic FindersKeypers Thank you for purchasing ProMystics FindersKeypers FK. You can now carry FK with you and be ready to perform at a moments notice. What you receive FindersKeypers Keyfob Electronic transmitter Battery (CR1225 or BR1225) Stickers for customization ProMystic Modular Receiver (Optional) Bag (Optoinal) Bag (Optoinal) Key Features Very small package and easy to carry Custom leather enclosure Programmable Dial Lock mode and Magnetic Lock Mode Very long battery life Up to 20 feet of range This is by far the thinnest tag of its kind available today!
FindersKeypers is Built with Quality to Last a Lifetime www.promystic.com ProMystic FindersKeypers The Receiver How to turn it on and off Slide the on/off switch. (See photo, below left.) When you switch the receiver on, it will vibrate for one second, letting you know it is activated. It does not vibrate when you switch it off. How to install batteries The receiver comes with two CR2032 batteries already installed. When the The receiver comes with two CR2032 batteries already installed. When the batteries are drained, the receiver will give one long, weak buzz, or just stop working. Youll notice that the range also decreases when the battery is low. Remove the old battery by pushing it out of the battery holder with a non-
metallic object a toothpick, pencil, or corner of a credit card. Look for the
+ indicator on the new battery, and hold it with that side toward you. Slide it into the battery holder. (See photo, below right.) Good batteries will give you about Twenty hours of active performance time. I recommend Panasonic, Sony, Energizer, or Renata. You can buy them online for less than $1 apiece. I get my batteries at www.digikey.com. Keep new batteries on hand, storing them so they dont contact each other or other metal. You should keep the receiver off when youre not using it, or the battery will drain. You do not need to remove the batteries. If youre performing for more than an hour, keep the receiver turned off as much as possible. Leaving it on for hours drains the batteries quickly. Using it for ten minutes at a time will give you much better battery life, because this allows the lithium batteries to recover from the load. ProMystic FindersKeypers Setting up your KeyFob The first step is to customize your keyfob by selecting a picture that will show through the window. This can be done by using the electronic transmitter and drawing a in pencil a light line around the outline. Make sure you center the picture you are using. Use pencil so you can erase if you need to. Next, cut along the pencil line, remove the sticker backing and stick to the flat part of the transmitter. If your logo has up/down orientation, the battery side of the tag will heand down when installed. Select a symbol to use, trace around it and cut it out. Cut any excess from the edge of the transmitter. ProMystic FindersKeypers Open the Keyfob The FindersKeypers keyfob is made to look like a keychain/picture holder. This is specially designed to hide the gimmick right out in the open. It resembles a luggage tag that everyone is familiar with. Other designs yielded a poor looking keychain. This also enables the heads/tails routine as well. It is opened unscrewing the rivet on the bottom of the keyfob. This is designed so it can not be done by a spectator. The electronics can then be removed by shaking the electronics out into your hand. You can also delicately grab the electronics with a pair of tweezers and pull the electronics out. Open with Screw Driver Remove electronics with Tweezers or shake out ProMystic FindersKeypers Installing the Battery and Setting Modes It is very easy to set the modes. This is done when you install the battery. Turn on the receiver and when you install the keyfob battery. When you install this battery you get a series of initial signals or buzzes. The first buzz sets the number of repeats With the 3 side up you get the default 10 repeats With the 2 side up you get the infinite repeats With the 2 side up you get the infinite repeats With the battery up, the receiver will count up by one until you tip the transmitter over and it will stop counting and that will be the number of repeats The second buzz sets the Dial Lock feature. The Dial Lock feature is only enabled if the second buzz in a 2. If you are programming a custom number of buzzes, you must turn the electronics to the 2 side to enable the Dial Lock right after receiving the number of repeat buzzes that you want. ProMystic FindersKeypers Infinite Mode:
Turn the receiver on to feel the signal and install the battery holding the transmitter with the flat circuit boar up and you will get a 2 signal. In this mode the transmitter only turn off when exposed to a magnet or when dialed off. This is useful when performing the Kurotsuke effect. When you put the key in the bag you need it to keep repeating unit someone takes it out of the special metallic material lined bag. The keyfob will turn off completely when exposed to a magnet. To enable the dial lock mode you keep the tag on the #2 side for the second buzz. second buzz.
#2 side up ProMystic FindersKeypers 10 Repeat Mode Turn the receiver on to feel the signal and install the battery while holding the transmitter with the battery side up and you will get a 3 signal. In this mode the transmitter will give 10 repeats before going into silent mode. This can be used for performing which hand and the transmitter will shut off when held in the same orientation for 10 repeats. This is the default mode. The keyfob will turn off completely when exposed to a magnet. To enable the dial lock mode you must turn the tag to the #2 side for the second buzz.
#3 side up ProMystic FindersKeypers Custom Mode Hold the transmitter with the battery long ways up and install the battery. This allows you to set the exact number of repeats you would like to perform with. Some people like several and some people like just a few repeats. This is personal preference. When you install the battery the transmitter will give 1s while counting them. When you have reached the number of repeats that you want, turn the tag to a new side and the tag will stop counting and remember the number of repeats. To enable the dial lock feature you must turn the tag to the #2 side to stop the counting. Turning the tag to any other side will stop the to stop the counting. Turning the tag to any other side will stop the counting and disable the dial lock feature. The keyfob will turn off completely when exposed to a magnet.
#1 custom side up ProMystic FindersKeypers How to Lock the Keyfob Magnetic The Magnetic lock feature turn s the keyfob off and you do not need to keep the magnet on the item. The keyfob will remember its settings and the battery will last 1 year + in this mode. Hold a magnet to the corner of the keyfob opposite of the battery for a few seconds until it stops transmitting. Then remove from the magnet and the keyfob is off. Turn the keyfob back on by holding the keyfob back up to the magnet until you get a signal. This may take one or two tried until you get used to it. Dial Lock You mus first enable this feature while programming the number of repeats above. Hold the keyfob so you are looking at the picture and the battery is pointing up. The same as the custom picture and the battery is pointing up. The same as the custom program mode. Get a 1 signal. Turn the keyfob turn clockwise to get another 1. Again turn clockwise to get a 1. Then turn more clockwise to get a fourth 1. Then turn the 3 side up to get a 3 and then the 2 side up and the keyfob will be locked. Dial UnLock Hold the keyfob so the 2 side is up. In the lock mode, you will get a 2 every 15 seconds. When you get a 2 signal, then turn the keyfob to 3 to get the signal, then back to 2. This will unlock the keyfob. Battery Life the battery in the keyfob will last way longer than you can imagine. If you turn off the keyfob, expect to Get several years out of one battery. ProMystic FindersKeypers Performance Performance is very simple. They key and the keyfob are handed to the spectator. You should put all the fucus on the other object like the key. When the hands are to the side you will get a 1 signal. When the hand with the keyfob is raised you will either get a 2 or a 3 signal depending on what side on the keyfob is up. A 2 is for heads or the picture is up and and a 3 is for tails and the back of thekeyfob is up. Start hands to side Signal = 1 Raise Hand 1=they dont have keyfob 2=they have keyfob 3=they have keyfob 3 = tails or back of keyfob 2 = heads or picture is up ProMystic FindersKeypers IMPORTANT WARRANTY Promystic products are warranted (i) against defects and workmanship and (ii) that when properly used , will execute their programmed instructions, for a period of 1 year from the date of product purchase. Objective The primary objective of the manufacturer is compliance with Subpart C of Part 15 of FCC Rules for the radiated and conducted emissions of intentional radiators and Industry CanadaRSS-210 for Low Power, License-Exempt Radio Communication Devices. Certification of these devices is required as a prerequisite to marketing as defined in Part 2 the FCC Rules and Industry Canada Radio Standards Procedure RSP-100. Certification is a procedure where the manufacturer or a contracted laboratory makes measurements and submits the test data and technical information to the FCC. The FCC issues a grant of equipment authorization upon successful completion of their review of the submitted documents. Once the equipment authorization has been obtained, the label indicating compliance must be attached to all identical units, which are subsequently manufactured. Maintenance of compliance is the responsibility of the manufacturer. Any modification of the product which may result in increased emissions should be checked to ensure compliance has been maintained (i.e., printed circuit board layout changes, different line filter, different power supply, harnessing or I/O cable changes, etc.). 1.3.
