Connect the micro USB plug to the micro USB charging port on the bottom of the unit. Using the iBT12 Charge via computer USB port, USB AC adaptor or other powered USB port Press and hold the << and >> Buttons together to check battery status iHome iBT12 USB port Battery Charge Status Indicator power in aux-in Reset Flashing Red LOW needs charging Computer connected to working outlet Computer USB port NOTE: The Status Indicator Lights on the top front of the unit are activated when the unit is ON or when connected to a charging source via the USB cable. Fading Red MED partially charged Fading Green HIGH fully charged TIP: On some iOS devices, you can view the battery status of the iBT12 right on your devices screen. Look for a vertical battery icon next to the Bluetooth icon (when device is paired and connected). 2. Connect the standard USB plug end of the cable to a power USB port on a computer or other USB charging device. For first time use, charge unit for about 8 hours. 3. While charging, the Battery Charge Indicator light on the front of the unit will glow solid red. Once fully charged the light will glow solid green. NOTE: To save battery life, after 15 minutes without detecting any audio, the unit will power off automatically. 4 P7 Pairing Your Device Pairing is the set-up process to introduce your Bluetooth-capable device to the iBT12. Once your device is paired, the iBT12 can recognize it and you can play your audio through it. Using the iBT12 1. Make sure your Bluetooth device is fully charged. Turn on your Bluetooth device and make it discoverable by turning on Bluetooth mode (check in Options or Settings). 2. Press the Power Button to turn on the iBT12. 3. Press and hold the Play/Pause/Pairing Button for 2 seconds. The iBT12 will beep and the Bluetooth status indicator light will flash blue quickly. 4. iHome SoundFlask12 should appear in your devices Bluetooth menu. If Not Paired, Not Connected or similar message appears, select iHome SoundFlask12 to connect it. If prompted for a passcode, enter 1234 on your devices keypad. For iPhone iHome Sound .. iHome SoundFlask12 For other iHome SoundFlask12 iHome SoundFlask12 5. If pairing is successful, 2 beeps will sound and the Bluetooth status indicator light will appear solid blue, indicating the iBT12 is ready to play music. There should also be an indication on your device. If no device is successfully paired within 3 minutes the iBT12 will default to previous mode. Once the iBT12 is paired to a device, it will attempt to autolink when the device is within range (about 30 feet). 5 P8 Pairing with a Different Device When you power ON the unit, it will automatically link with the previously paired Bluetooth device as long as that device is still within range (approx. 30 feet). To pair with a different device follow steps 1 - 4 under Pairing Your Device on previous page. Using the iBT12 Playing Audio Via Bluetooth 1. Press the Power Button to turn on the unit. The status indicators will flash slowly while seeking a linked device then glow solid blue when a linked device is in range and detected. You can then listen to audio streamed wirelessly from your paired Bluetooth device. 2. Press the Play/Pause/Pairing Button to play audio from your device. Press again to pause play and once more to resume play. When Bluetooth audio is active, the Bluetooth status indicator will glow solid blue. 3. Press the Button to go to the beginning of the current track or to a previous track. Press the Button to go to the next track. Press and hold either to search within current track. You can also use menu and track controls on your Bluetooth device to navigate tracks. 4. Turn the Volume Knob to adjust the iBT12 volume. You can also adjust volume on your device. 5. When done listening, press the Power Button to turn the unit OFF. 6 P9 Speakerphone Operation NOTE: The unit must be powered on and linked to a Bluetooth phone to receive a call. Using the iBT12 1. When a call is received, playing music is muted to hear the ring tone. Press thexxxxxFWD/Answer Call Buttonxto answer the call, or press the REV/End Call Button to ignore it. For call waiting function, use phone controls on your device. 2. When a call is completed, press the REV/End Call Button to end the call and resume previous function. 7 P10 Using the iBT12 power in aux-in Reset Mobile Phone PC/Tablet Game Devices iPod Laptop MP3/MP4 Playing Audio via Aux In 1. Connect one end of the included 3.5mm stereo audio cable to the Aux-in jack on the bottom of the unit under the splash seal and connect the other end to the headphone or line-out jack on your audio device. 2. Press and hold the Power Button on the unit to turn it on. 3. Power on the audio device and use the controls on the device to play or pause audio, and navigate tracks. 4. Turn the Volume Knob to adjust the system volume. You can also adjust volume on your device. 5. When done listening, press the Button to turn the unit OFF. Remember to turn off your device, too. NOTE: Make sure no Bluetooth device is playing or you will not hear the Aux-in audio. 8 P12 Internal Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery This device uses an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery that should last the lifetime of the device. If you suspect your battery may be dead, try charging it several times. If the battery does not recharge, please contact us for repair information. WARNING/DISPOSAL OF UNIT Please do NOT attempt to change the battery yourself. If the battery has died and you do not want us to replace your battery, you should follow the disposal instructions below:
Never dispose of used batteries/electronics with ordinary solid wastes, since they contain toxic substances.
Always dispose of used batteries/electronics in accordance with the prevailing community regulations that apply to the disposal of batteries/electronics. If there are no local regulations concerning battery/electronics disposal, please dispose of the device in a waste bin for electronic devices.

Make sure unit is completely charged.
Check that all connections are correct and properly plugged in.
Make sure your device is properly paired with the iBT12.
Make sure the unit is on. Unit doesnt respond (locked up/frozen) If the unit does not respond, try inserting a paperclip or similar into the Reset port located on the bottom of the unit for about 10 seconds. Trouble pairing device/computer with iBT12 Bluetooth implementation varies depending on your devices hardware and operating system. Please see our website for updates on pairing.
When you power ON the speaker, it will automatically link with the last previously paired Bluetooth device if the device is still within range (approx. 30 feet).
If your device does not auto-link when within range, re-pair the device. To do so, first delete the iBT12 from your Bluetooth devices menu.
Make sure your device is working properly. Check your devices manual for details on Bluetooth pairing and linking. Recherchez un icne de batterie vertical ct de l'icne Bluetooth
(lorsque l'appareil est coupl et connect). 2. Connectez l'extrmit USB standard du cble un port USB aliment d'un ordinateur ou d'un autre appareil de charge USB. Pour la premire fois, chargez l'unit pendant environ 8 heures. 3. Pendant la charge, le tmoin de charge de la batterie l'avant de lunit sallume en rouge. Une fois la batterie compltement charge, le tmoin devient vert fixe. REMARQUE : Pour conomiser la batterie, lunit steint automatiquement aprs 15 minutes sans dtection de signal audio. 4 P7 Coupler votre appareil Le couplage est un processus qui permet la prsentation de votre dispositif compatible Bluetooth iBT12. Une fois votre dispositif coupl, iBT12 peut le reconnatre et vous pouvez couter vos fichiers audio travers l'enceinte. Utilisation de iBT12 1. Assurez-vous que votre appareil Bluetooth est pleinement charg. Allumez votre appareil Bluetooth et le rendre dtectable en activant le mode Bluetooth (reportez-vous aux Options ou Paramtres). 2. Appuyez sur le Power d'alimentation pour allumer le iBT12. 3. Maintenez appuye la touche Talk/Pairing/Play/Pause droite de l'appareil pendant 2 secondes. Le iBT12 met un bip et le voyant d'tat Bluetooth clignote en bleu rapidement. 4. iHome SoundFlask12 doit apparatre dans le menu de votre appareil Bluetooth. Si Not Paired , Not Connected ou un message similaire apparat, slectionnez iHome SoundFlask12 pour la connecter. Rpondez par 1234 si un mot de passe vous est demand. Pour iPhone iHome Sound .. iHome SoundFlask12 Pour autres appareils iHome SoundFlask12 iHome SoundFlask12 5. Si le couplage est russi, 2 bips sont mis et le tmoin Bluetooth s'allume en bleu, indiquant quiBT12 est prte reproduire de la musique. Il doit galement y avoir une indication sur votre appareil. Si aucun appareil n'est coupl dans les 3 minutes, iBT12 retourne par dfaut son tat prcdent. Une fois iBT12 couple avec un appareil, elle essaie de se connecter automatiquement un appareil qui se trouve porte (dans un rayon d'environ 10 mtres). 5 P8 Couplage avec un appareil diffrent Lorsque vous allumez l'enceinte, elle se connecte automatiquement l'appareil Bluetooth prcdemment connect tant que cet appareil est porte (environ 10 m). Pour coupler avec un autre appareil, suivez les tapes 1 - 4 dans Couplage de votre appareil de la page prcdente. Utilisation de iBT12 coute audio via Bluetooth 1. Appuyez la touche Power pour allumer l'unit. Le tmoin d'tat clignote lentement pendant que lunit recherche un appareil connect puis devient bleu fixe lorsquun appareil connect porte est dtect. Vous pouvez alors couter de l'audio diffuse sans fil partir de votre appareil Bluetooth coupl. 2. Appuyez sur la touche Play/Pause/Pairing pour lire l'audio partir de votre appareil. Appuyez pour suspendre la lecture, appuyez de nouveau pour reprendre la lecture. Lorsque laudio Bluetooth est active, le tmoin Bluetooth s'allume en bleu fixe. 3. Appuyez sur la touche pour aller au dbut du morceau en cours ou un morceau prcdent. Appuyez sur la touche pour aller au morceau suivant. Maintenez appuye pour rechercher dans le morceau en cours. Vous pouvez galement utiliser les commandes du menu et les touches de contrle de votre appareil Bluetooth pour parcourir les morceaux. 4. Tournez le bouton Volume pour rgler le volume diBT12. Vous pouvez galement rgler le volume partir de votre appareil. 5. Lorsque vous aurez termin d'couter, appuyez sur la touche Power pour teindre l'appareil. 6 P9 Utilisation mains libres REMARQUE : L'appareil doit tre sous tension et connect un tlphone Bluetooth pour recevoir un appel. Utilisation de iBT12 1. Lorsque vous recevez un appel, la lecture de musique est arrte pour vous permettre d'entendre la sonnerie. Appuyez sur la touche FWD/Answer Call pour rpondre l'appel, ou appuyez sur la touche REV/End Call pour l'ignorer. Pour la fonction appel en attente, utilisez les touches de tlphone de votre appareil. 2. Lorsqu'un appel est termin, appuyez sur la touche REV/End Call pour terminer l'appel et reprendre la fonction prcdente. 7 P10 Utilisation de iBT12 power in aux-in Reset Tlphone mobile PC / Tablette Consoles de jeu iPod Ordinateur portable MP3/MP4 Ecoute audio via l'entre auxiliaire 1. Connectez une extrmit du cble audio stro 3,5 mm inclus l'entre auxiliaire en dessous de lunit derrire le joint dtanchit et connectez l'autre extrmit la sortie casque ou la sortie ligne de votre appareil audio. 2. Maintenez appuye la touche Power de l'unit pour l'allumer. 3. Allumez l'appareil audio et utilisez ses touches de contrle pour lire/suspendre la lecture audio et pour parcourir les pistes. 4. Tournez le bouton Volume pour rgler le volume du systme. Vous pouvez galement rgler le volume partir de votre appareil. 5. Lorsque vous aurez termin d'couter, appuyez sur la touche pour teindre l'appareil. Pensez bien teindre votre systme galement. REMARQUE
: Assurez-vous qu'aucun appareil Bluetooth nest en lecture ou vous nallez pas entendre laudio issue de l'entre auxiliaire. 8 P12 Batterie au lithium-ion intgre rechargeable Cet appareil utilise une pile interne au lithium ionique rechargeable, prvue pour durer autant que l'appareil. Si vous pensez que votre pile est peut tre morte, essayez de la charger plusieurs reprises. Si la pile ne se recharge pas, contactez-nous pour obtenir des informations de rparation. Assurez-vous que l'appareil est allum. L'unit ne rpond pas (verrouille ou bloque) Si lunit ne rpond pas, essayez de la rinitialiser en insrant un trombone ou un objet similaire dans le trou situ en dessous de lunit pendant environ 10 secondes. Problme de couplage d'un appareil/ordinateur avec l'iBT12 Le couplage Bluetooth dpend du matriel de votre matriel et de son systme d'exploitation. Veuillez consulter notre site internet pour des mises jour concernant le couplage.
Lorsque vous allumez l'enceinte, elle se connecte automatiquement au dernier appareil Bluetooth prcdemment connect tant que cet appareil est porte (environ 10 mtres).
Si votre appareil ne se couple pas automatiquement lorsqu'il se trouve porte, re-couplez le dispositif. Pour ce faire, commencez par supprimer l'iBT12 du menu des priphriques Bluetooth.
