BATTERY INSTALLATION OF REMOTE CONTROL
USING AT FIRST TIME:
Remove and discard the insulation film as Fig.1.
BATTERY REPLACING:
Pull out the battery holder as Fig.2.
Replace the old button cell with a new CR2025 button cell
with the polarity markings facing upward as Fig.3.
Push back the battery holder as Fig.4.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using a battery in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of battery specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the battery
compartment, a reserved battery may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not mix different
types of batteries together ( e.g: Alkaline and Carbon -zinc )
or old batteries with fresh ones.
4. If the batteries in the device are consumed or the device is not to be used for a long period of time,
remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible leakage.
5. Do not
try to recharge the battery as it is not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture.
( Follow the battery manufacturer’s instructions.)
6. The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine or fire.
7. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.

PLACEMENT AND MOUNTING
1. Placing the device on a table - Ventilation
When placing the Sound Bar on an entertainment center, bookshelf, or any type of
enclosed space, be sure to allow at least 2-3 inches of space around the Sound Bar for
ventilation.

2.1 Mounting to a wooden wall

A. Mark the position of the mounting screws on the wall using a pencil.
B. Drill the screws directly into the marks that you have made on the wall and leave
approx. 0.3 inches length to hook the sound bar.
C. Put the sound bar onto the mounting screws. Make sure they are firm and stable.

GENERAL OPERATION
1. Connect the AC/DC adapter to the unit and wall outlet.
2. Press the button on the unit or remote control to power on the unit.
The LED light effect will light up.
3. Press the button on the unit repeatedly, or press the AUX, OPTICAL, BT,
LINE IN, HDMI IN or USB button on remote control to switch to the desired
mode directly. The corresponding mode indicator on front right of the unit will
light up.

~ Press the + or - button on the unit repeatedly to adjust volume.
~ Press the VOL+ or VOL- button on remote control repeatedly to adjust volume.
~ Press the button on remote control to turn on or turn off sound.
~ Press the Sound Mode button (POP, ROCK, CLASSIC, STANDARD) on remote

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

remote control to switch to the Bluetooth mode, the BT/USB indicator on front
right of the unit will turn blue and blink.
3. Power on the external Bluetooth enable device and enter Bluetooth mode and try
searching the unit.
4. When MONSTER SB2 appears, select it and make connection.
5. After successful paired, the Bluetooth indicator will be solid blue.
6. During playback:
~ Press the or button on remote control to skip tracks.
~ Press the button on remote control to pause, press it again to resume.
7. Press and hold the button to disconnect current connection and go into a
pairing mode, you can pair to new devices with this sound bar.
NOTE: The unit will be automatically connected with the last connected Bluetooth
device if their Bluetooth function are activated and they are in working range.

AUX IN OPERATION
An external Audio player (such as mobile phone, MP3 player etc.) can be
connected to this unit and listen through the unit's speakers.
1. Plug one end of the AUX IN cable into the AUX IN jack on the unit.
2. Plug the other end of the AUX IN cable into the headphone jack or Aux Out jack
on the external audio player.

directly to switch to USB mode, the BT/USB indicator on front right of the unit will turn to

~ Press the or button on remote control to skip tracks.
~ Press the button on remote control to pause, press it again to resume.
Note: Whether in any mode, it will automatically switch to USB mode when the USB device
is inserted.
RECORDING OPERATION
This unit has Recording function, please insert a USB device first when using this function.

Press the button on the unit repeatedly, or press the desired button on remote control to
switch the mode directly. The corresponding mode indicator on front right of the unit will light up.
3. When in playback, press and hold the
button on Main Unit or USB/REC. button on
remote control, a prompt tone will be heard to indicate you the recording is begin.
4. Press and hold the
button on Main Unit or USB/REC. button on remote control again to
stop recording, two beep tones will be heard.
NOTE:
•
The recorded tracks will be stored in USB device automatically and will be played in priority
in USB mode.
• When in USB playback, press and hold the button on Main Unit or USB/REC. button on
remote control to access the recording file list directly.
• The recording function only works in BT, AUX and Line in mode.

period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product or

(17) Surcharge
Ne pas surcharger les prises murales et les rallonges, car cela pourrait entraîner un risque
d'incendie ou de choc électrique.
(18) Insertion d'objet ou de liquide
Ne jamais insérer d'objet dans le produit à travers les ouvertures car il pourrait toucher des points
de tensions dangereux ou faire court-circuiter des pièces, ce qui pourrait causer des feux ou

(20) Entretien

INSTALLATION DE LA PILE DANS LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE
LORS DE LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION :
Retirez et jetez la languette d’isolation, comme illustré dans la Fig. 1.
REMPLACER LA PILE :
Sortez le support de la pile, comme illustré dans la Fig. 2.
Remplacez l’ancienne pile-bouton par une nouvelle pile-bouton de type
CR2025, le symbole de polarité vers le haut, comme illustré dans la Fig. 3.
Remettez le support de la pile en place, comme illustré dans la Fig. 4.

PRÉCAUTIONS CONCERNANT LES PILES
Respectez ces consignes lorsque vous utilisez une pile dans cet appareil :
1. Utilisez seulement une pile de la taille et du type spécifié.
2. Veillez à respecter le sens de polarité des piles lorsque vous les installez. Le sens est indiqué
dans le compartiment des piles. Des piles installées dans le sens incorrect pourraient causer des
dommages à l’appareil.
3. Ne pas mélanger différents types de piles (par ex. : alcaline et carbone-zinc) ni des piles usées
avec des piles neuves.
4. Lorsque les piles sont vides, ou que vous ne prévoyez pas d’utiliser l’appareil pendant une
durée prolongée, retirez les piles pour réduire les risques de dommage ou de blessure causés par
la fuite de liquide de pile.
5. Ne pas tenter de recharger une pile qui n’est pas conçue pour cela. Cette dernière peut
surchauffer ou se fendre. (suivez les instructions du fabricant de la pile).
6. N'exposez pas une pile à des chaleurs extrêmes en la plaçant au soleil ou proche d'un feu.
7. Nettoyez les contacts des piles et ceux de l’appareil avant d’installer la pile.
8. La télécommande et livrée avec une pile-bouton. Si la pile-bouton est avalée, elle peut entraîner
de sévères brûlures internes en l’espace de seulement 2 heures, et peut causer la mort. Garder
les piles neuves et usées hors de portée des enfants. Si le compartiment des piles ne se ferme
pas correctement, cessez l’utilisation du produit, et ne le laissez pas à portée des enfants. Si vous
pensez que des piles aient pu être avalées ou enfoncées dans une partie du corps, prenez
immédiatement contact avec un médecin.
AVERTISSEMENT !
Les piles-bouton peuvent causer des blessures graves, et même la mort en cas
d’ingestion. Éliminez-les dans le respect des consignes ! Rangez les piles hors
de portée des enfants !

Portée de fonctionnement de la télécommande

1. Positionner l’appareil sur une table - Ventilation
Si vous posez la barre-son sur une étagère de matériel hi-fi, une bibliothèque ou tout autre type
d’espace fermé, assurez-vous de ménager un espace libre de 2-3 pouces (5 à 8 cm) pour garantir
la bonne circulation de l’air. Si la barre-son est installée dans un espace confiné, sans ventilation,
la chaleur dégagée par la barre-son peut entraîner un danger de surchauffe.

2.1 Montage sur un mur de bois

A. Marquez la position des vis de montage sur le mur à l’aide d’un crayon.
B. Percez les trous directement dans les marques faites sur le mur et laissez un espace libre
d’environ 0,3 pouce (7 mm) entre la tête de vis et le mur pour suspendre la barre-son.
C. Accrochez la barre-son sur les vis de montage. Assurez-vous que l’ensemble est ferme et
stable.

UTILISATION GÉNÉRALE
1. Branchez l’adaptateur CA/CC à l’unité et à la prise murale.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton

Les effets lumineux LED s’activeront.
3. Appuyez plusieurs fois sur le bouton de l'appareil ou appuyez sur le bouton AUX,
OPTICAL, BT, LINE IN, HDMI IN ou USB de la télécommande pour passer directement au
mode souhaité. L'indicateur de mode correspondant à l'avant droit de l'appareil s'allumera.
L’indicateur de mode sur l’avant de l’unité s’illuminera.
4. Pendant la lecture :
~ Appuyez sur le bouton + ou - de manière répétée sur l’unité pour régler le volume.
~ Appuyez sur le bouton VOL+ ou VOL- sur l’unité ou sur le bouton + ou - sur la télécommande de
manière répétée pour ajuster le volume.
~ Appuyez sur le bouton
sur la télécommande pour activer ou couper le son.
~ Appuyez sur le bouton de mode de son (POP, ROCK, CLASSIQUE, STANDARD) sur la
télécommande pour sélectionner le mode d’égaliseur désiré.
~ Appuyez sur le bouton
sur l’unité ou sur la télécommande de manière répétée pour
sélectionner différents effets LED.
Mode 1 : L’éclairage LED sera illuminé en bleu continu.
Mode 2 : L’éclairage LED sera illuminé en vert continu.

Mode 4 : L’éclairage LED sera illuminé en jaune.

Mode 8 : L’éclairage LED se déplace de gauche à droite si aucune musique n’est jouée.
L’éclairage LED RGB changera au rythme et au volume de la musique, en se déplaçant de
gauche à droite.
Mode 9 : L’éclairage LED RGB changera de couleur et clignotera de manière répétée, en
alternance.
Mode 10 : L’éclairage LED clignote en mode disco.
Mode 11 : L’éclairage LED se déplacera de gauche à droite lentement et de manière répétée,
en alternant avec la couleur bleu, violet, rouge, jaune, vert et bleu ciel.
~ Maintenez le bouton
appuyé sur l’unité ou sur la télécommande de manière répétée pour
sélectionner différents effets d’éclairage LED.

FONCTION BLUETOOTH
1. Allumez l’unité comme décrit précédemment.

Appuyez plusieurs fois sur le bouton de l'appareil ou appuyez directement sur le bouton
BT de la télécommande pour passer en mode Bluetooth, le voyant BT / USB à l'avant droit de
l'appareil deviendra bleu et clignotera.
3. Allumez l’appareil Bluetooth externe, et activez le mode Bluetooth. Lancez une recherche de
l’unité.
4. Lorsque MONSTER SB2 apparaît, sélectionnez le nom et effectuez la connexion.
5. Une fois la connexion effectuée, l’indicateur de mode s’illumine en bleu continu.
6. Pendant la lecture :
~ Appuyez sur le bouton

télécommande directement pour passer en mode USB, le voyant BT / USB à l'avant droit de
l'appareil deviendra blanc.
4. Pendant la lecture:
~ Appuyez sur le bouton ou de la télécommande pour sauter des pistes.
~ Appuyez sur le bouton de la télécommande pour mettre en pause, appuyez à nouveau
pour reprendre.
Remarque: que ce soit dans n'importe quel mode, il passera automatiquement en mode USB
lorsque le périphérique USB est inséré.
OPÉRATION D'ENREGISTREMENT
Cet appareil a une fonction d'enregistrement, veuillez d'abord insérer un périphérique
USB lorsque vous utilisez cette fonction.
1. Mettez l'appareil sous tension comme expliqué précédemment.
2. Appuyez plusieurs fois sur le bouton de l'appareil ou appuyez sur la bouton souhaitée de
la télécommande pour changer de mode directement. L'indicateur de mode correspondant à
l'avant droit de l'appareil s'allume.
3. Lors de la lecture, maintenez enfoncée la touche de l'unité principale ou USB/REC. sur la
télécommande, une tonalité d'invite se fera entendre pour vous indiquer que l'enregistrement a
commencé.
4. Appuyez sur le bouton de l'unité principale ou USB/REC et maintenez-le enfoncé. à
nouveau sur la télécommande pour arrêter l'enregistrement, deux bips seront émis.
NOTE:
•
Les pistes enregistrées seront automatiquement stockées sur le périphérique USB
et seront lues en priorité en mode USB.
• Lors de la lecture USB, maintenez enfoncée la touche de l'unité principale ou USB/REC.
