Spot-r Clip Operation Instructions The Spot-r Clip is a wearable device that identies the approximate zone-based location of a worker on site within the Spot-r network. The device automatically records fall events and pushes a notication, including who, where and height of fall, to designated supervisors. A push-button at the bottom of the device allows workers on site to trigger the following manual alerts:

- Reporting an unsafe condition or non-fall injury

- Signaling distress to supervisors in real-time In a situation that requires evacuation, supervisors can activate an alarm that is emitted by each wearable device. The Clip communicates via Spot-rs proprietary network and automatically disconnects when a worker is outside of the range of the active Spot-r network. It does not use GPS or personal cell phone devices, and there is no o-site monitoring. Assignment: Every worker on a project is assigned a unique Spot-r device. The Clip is generally assigned during the site safety orientation conducted by the general contractor or is distributed each day when a worker arrives on site. The Clip is designed to be worn on a workers waist belt and must be worn properly in order to correctly register fall events. It cannot be worn on the hard hat or safety vest as a substitute.
