(1) Power adapter 2 Charge the speaker Before you start using the speaker for the first time, its a good idea to charge it completely. To charge the speaker: Open the rubber door covering the jacks on the back the speaker. Plug the included power adapter into the DC IN jack behind this door. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a power outlet. The charging indicator is red while the speaker is charging. It turns green when its fully charged. Note: You can use the speaker while its charging. Make sure the Power/Pair indicator on the speaker is blinking rapidly.

The speaker Power/Pair Volume DC In Aux In Note: If youve previously paired a different Bluetooth device with this speaker, the speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to that device when you switch the speaker on. If you want to pair to a new device, double-press the button on the speakerthe speaker gives an audio signal. Choose AR Sedona from the pairing options on your smartphone. (If its not in the list, choose Scan from your phones Bluetooth menu.) The speaker gives an audio signal when its finished pairing and connecting to your smartphone. The Power/Pair indicator turns solid blue. Note: The process of enabling Bluetooth and connecting varies from device to device. See your devices owners manual for more information and specific instructions. Bluetooth Wireless Connection Tips Make sure the Bluetooth capability of your device is turned on. Make sure theres nothing plugged into the speakers AUX IN jack when youre trying to use Bluetooth. The Bluetooth wireless connection works up to a range of roughly 33 feet (10 meters). This range may vary, however, based on other factors, such as room layout, wall material, obstacles, your devices Bluetooth performance, etc. If youre having problems connecting to the speaker, move closer to it. If your device asks you for a password to connect, use 0000. If youre having trouble reconnecting, try the following solutions:
Find the device named AR Sedona in the Bluetooth menu on your phone, and remove (or forget) this device. Then start the pairing process described in this section again to re-pair and connect. With the speaker on, press and hold the Volume and Volume + buttons for 6 seconds until the speaker gives an audio signal and turns off. This resets the speaker. Then, remove AR Sedona from your phones Bluetooth devices and repeat the pairing process. 5 Start playing music on your device Set your devices volume for music to 50%. Start playing music or other audio on your device. Within seconds, the speaker starts streaming the audio wirelessly via Bluetooth. To adjust the volume of your audio: Give a quick press to the speakers Volume + or button
(on the back panel) or use the volume controls on your phone. TIP: If youre playing music via Bluetooth, a quick single-press on the speakers pause/play. button will 3 Adding Speakers (Stereo Mode) If you have a second AR Sedona wireless speaker, you can use it together with this one in stereo mode. To use 2 AR Sedona speakers together in stereo mode:
Power/Pair 1. Turn on both speakers. (Press and hold the Power/Pair button on the back of each.) Volume Add Speaker Lighting Modes 2. Press and hold the Add Speaker button on the back of the first speaker until the Power/Pair light starts flashing white. 3. Press and hold the Add Speaker button on the back of the second speaker until its Power/Pair light starts flashing white. 4. The speakers announce left connected and right connected when theyre ready to play in stereo. DC In Aux In Power/Pair Volume Add Speaker Lighting Modes DC In Aux In Speaker back Once the speakers are connected with each other, the left speaker will try to pair to your phone (its Power/Pair light will blink fast). Find the AR Sedona in your phones Bluetooth menu and connect to it. Once the speakers are connected to your phone, the right speakers Power/
Pair light will go solid white. The lefts Power/Pair light also goes solid white and blinks off every 5 seconds. Keep your phone close to the left speakerthats the one its connected to!
Using the Lighting Modes The Lighting Mode buttons give you control over this speakers built-
in multi-mode lighting. You can use the lighting whether the speakers on or off. Power/Pair Volume Add Speaker Lighting Modes Press the Lighting Modes button to cycle through the multiple lighting modes:
Big Flame and Small Flame provide different levels of the speakers flame lighting effect. DC In Aux In Pulsing Flame provides a flame effect that pulses to the beat of your music. Power/Pair Volume Add Speaker Lighting Modes DC In Aux In Speaker back White Light provides a soft white light. Off turns the speakers lighting off. 4 Using the AUX input Use a mini-jack audio cable (not included) to connect the audio out-
put from your device to the Aux In audio input on the speakers back panel (open the rubber door to access the jack). The speaker auto-
matically switches to the Aux In audio. (For two-speaker setups, plug into the one whose Power/Pair light is blinking every 5 seconds.) To listen to Bluetooth audio again, unplug the cable from the speakers Aux In jack. Slow blinking whitethe two speakers are trying to link for stereo sound. Fast blinking white (left speaker only) means this speaker is ready to pair via Bluetooth. button turns the speaker on and off (press and hold), initiates pairing with a Bluetooth device (double press), or initiates reconnection with a previously paired device (single press). It also functions as a play/
pause button when Bluetooth audio is playing. Aux In DC In Volume and + adjust the speakers volume (quick press). They also function as skip back and forward buttons when Bluetooth audio is playing (press and hold). Add Speaker pairs two AR Sedona speakers to work in stereo. Press and hold on one speaker then the other to set up. Lighting Modes button turns lighting on/off and cycles through the lighting modes. DC In jack connects to the power adapter provided to power or charge the speaker. Aux In jack lets you connect directly to the speaker to listen to an audio source.
