*Important: The FCC and IC have a strict EIRP limit in Band 30 for mobile and portable stations in order to protect adjacent satellite radio, aeronautical mobile telemetry, and deep space network operations. Mobile and portable stations must not have antenna gain exceeding 0 dBi in Band 30. Additionally, both the FCC and IC prohibit the use of external vehicle-mounted antennas for mobile and portable stations in this band.

*Important: Airborne operations in LTE Band 48 are prohibited. 3. The WW23E module may transmit simultaneously with other collocated radio transmitters within a host device, provided the following conditions are met:

Each collocated radio transmitter has been certified by FCC / ISED for mobile application. At least 20 cm separation distance between the antennas of the collocated transmitters and the users body must be maintained at all times. The radiated power of a collocated transmitter must not exceed the EIRP limit stipulated in Table 1. A label must be affixed to the outside of the end product into which the WW23E module is incorporated, with a statement similar to the following:

This device contains FCC ID: ACJ9TGWW23E, IC: 216H-CFWW23E Instructions to OEM Integrators A user manual with the end product must clearly indicate the operating requirements and conditions that must be observed to ensure compliance with current FCC/ISED RF exposure guidelines. The end product with an embedded the WW23E module may also need to pass the FCC Part 15 unintentional emission testing requirements and be properly authorized per FCC Part 15. If this module is intended for use in a portable device, integrators are responsible for separate evaluation and/or approval to satisfy FCC/ISED RF Exposure requirements. If other radio devices are to be integrated with this module, an additional evaluation and FCC/ISED submission may be required. Integrators are responsible for such additional evaluation and FCC/ISED submission.

We, Panasonic Corporation of North America performed SAR test to mount the module WW23E into the portable host (Panasonic 5G Module Model FZ-VEW553. The radiated emission testing was not additionally performed due to the following reasons:

The original testing of the module WW23E was performed when the antenna was connected to the module in an open environment. Under this application, the WW23E itself and its antennas installed inside the host 5G Module enclosure. The physical restraints introduced by the 5G Module enclosure should have resulted in equal or lower level of radiated emission.

The host 5G Module (Model FZ-VEW553) is incorporated within Panasonic PC (Model FZ-55(mk3) contains another wireless LAN module (Model: WL23A) and RFID module (Model: RI18A or RI23B). However, although all wireless modules operate simultaneously, internal testing confirmed that there is no influence on the emissions levels due to these simultaneous transmissions. Therefore, remaining compliant with the regulations. It doesnt consider the simultaneous transmission for RF exposure assessment as the host device 5G Module (Model FZ-VEW553) is the accessories and peripherals device, and the distance between the accessories and peripherals device and other transmitter is > =20 cm. This device has 5 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz and 20 MHz bandwidth modes (LTE B48); and has 10 MHz, 20 MHz and 40 MHz bandwidth modes (uplink) for 5GNR n48 band. This device also contains LTE Bands 2/4/5/7/12/13/14/17/25/26/38/41/66; and 5G NR (FR1, sub-5GHz) Bands n2/n5/n66/n77. The highest report SAR values for body, extremity, and simultaneous rf exposure conditions are <0.10 W/kg, <0.10 W/kg(10g), and 0.20 W/kg / 0.78 W/Kg(10g), respectively.
1 2 3 4 Power out is conducted at the antenna terminal. Single Modular Approval. This device is certified for mobile and fixed applications. Co-location of this module with other transmitters would require the use of FCC multi-transmitter product procedures. End-users and installers must be provided with antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. OEM integrators must ensure that the end user has no manual instructions to remove or install this module. For mobile operating configurations the antenna gain, including cable loss, must not exceed the gains documented in this filing for satisfying RF exposure compliance, as defined in 2.1091. Under no conditions may an antenna gain be used that would exceed the EIRP power limit as specified in Part 96. The Grantee is responsible for providing the documentation required for modular use. C2PC filing for enabling 5GNR n48 Band through software and the device keeps electrically identical. This device has 5 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz and 20 MHz bandwidth modes (LTE B48); and has 10 MHz, 20 MHz and 40 MHz bandwidth modes (uplink) for 5GNR n48 band. This device also contains LTE Bands 2/4/5/7/12/13/14/17/25/26/30/38/41/42/66/71; and 5G NR (FR1, sub-5GHz) Bands n2/n5/n7/n12/n25/n41/n66/n71/77.
1 2 3 4 Power out is conducted at the antenna terminal. Single Modular Approval. RF exposure compliance is addressed for 1.1310 and 2.1091 MPE limits - this filing complies with KDB 447498 and is approved for mobile/fixed operation. Installers and end-users must be provided with transmitter installation and operation conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. The antenna used for this transmitter must not transmit simultaneously with any other antenna or transmitter, except in accordance with FCC multi- transmitter product procedures as documented in this filing. For mobile operating configurations the antenna gain, including cable loss, must not exceed the gains documented in this filing for satisfying RF exposure compliance, as defined in 2.1091. Under no conditions may an antenna gain be used that would exceed the ERP and/or EIRP power limits as specified in Parts 22/24/27/90. The Grantee is responsible for providing the documentation required for modular use. Class II Permissive Change application to enable additional LTE and 5G NR Bands via software only. This device has 1.4 MHz, 3 MHz, 5 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz and 20 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 2/4/25/66; 1.4 MHz, 3 MHz, 5 MHz and 10 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 5/12; 1.4 MHz, 3 MHz, 5 MHz, 10 MHz and 15 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Band 26; 5 MHz and 10 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 13/14/17/30; 5 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz and 20 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 7/38/41/42/71. This device also supports CA UL on the LTE Bands 7/38/41/42/66. This device supports 5G NR (FR1, sub-6GHz) SA and NSA (EN-DC) modes, as documented in this filing; and it has 5MHz, 10 MHz and 15 MHz bandwidth modes for NR band n12; 5MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz and 20 MHz bandwidth modes for NR bands n2/n5/n7/n25/n71; 5MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz, 20 MHz, 30 MHz and 40 MHz bandwidth modes for NR band n66; 20 MHz, 30 MHz, 40 MHz, 50 MHz, 60 MHz, 70 MHz, 80 MHz, 90 MHz and 100 MHz bandwidth modes for NR bands n41/n77 (n77 is only applicable in the ranges of 3450-3550 MHz and 3700-3980 MHz). This device also contains LTE Band 48 (CBRS) transmitter.
