All the electronic operation should be strictly compliance with the electrical safety regulations, fire prevention regulations and other related regulations in your local region. Please use the power adapter, which is provided by normal company. The power consumption cannot be less than the required value. Do not connect several devices to one power adapter as adapter overload may cause over-heat or fire hazard. Steps 1. Remove the card slot cover. 2. Insert the TF card into the card slot on the side of the doorbell. Figure 2-3 Insert the TF Card 3. Cover the TF card slot. Note Up to 128 G TF card storage. Motion detection does not support recording without the TF card. The TF card will be formatted automatically when you power on the doorbell first time. 2.3 Install Doorbell Before You Start Make sure you have powered off the main power switch of your home. Make sure you have connected power cables of the doorbell. Steps 1. Chisel a hole in the wall. The size of the hole should be 60 mm (width) 106 mm

Hook the doorbell to the wall mounting plate tightly. Figure 2-4 Insert the Junction Box Figure 2-5 Install Doorbell 5 POE & Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera User Manual 3 Basic Operation You can configure and operate doorbell via Guarding Vision. 3.1 Set Up Mobile Client Before You Start Make sure your mobile device has been connected to Wi-Fi. Guarding Vision client is necessary for doorbell configuration and operation. Steps 1. Install Guarding Vision client and register a user account for iOS and Android. 1) Search Guarding Vision in App Store or Google PlayTM to download and install the client. 2) Launch the App and follow the on-screen instructions to register a user account. 2. Start the Guarding Vision client, and login the client. 3.2 Set Up Doorbell via Client To operate the doorbell normally, you should add the doorbell to the client, set its Wi-Fi connection via client first, and activate it. Steps 1. In the home page of the client, tap Add Device.

Scan QR code of the doorbell to add. Note The QR code is printed on the label, which is on the rear panel of doorbell. If you have already installed the device, you can scan the QR code in the user manual. Tap Tap to select QR code picture to add. to enter Serial No. of the doorbell. Tap to add.

- Wired Connection:
a. Tap Wired Connection to enter the configuration page. b. Connect the device to a router with a network cable. Note Make sure your mobile device is connected to the same router. c. Tap Connected and Next to complete network connection settings.
- Wireless Connection:
a. Tap Wireless Connection to enter the configuration page. b. Enter the password of Wi-Fi and tap Next. Note Make sure your mobile device has been connected to the same Wi-Fi. By default, the device enabled Wi-Fi AP mode. Or hold the reset button for 5 seconds to enter the Wi-Fi AP mode. 4. Enter the device password and tap Activate. Figure 3-3 Activate the Doorbell Note We highly recommend you to create a strong password of your own choosing (using a minimum of 8 characters, including at least three kinds of following categories: upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product. If the doorbell has been activated, skip the step. 5. The account is connected to the device. 3.3 Remote Operation via Client You can realize some certain functions of the doorbell via Guarding Vision (including, but not limited to, live view, and remote playback). Video Intercom Press Doorbell Button on the doorbell. You can accept the call via the Guarding Vision client, get the live view of the doorbell, and capture the screenshots. Live View Tap the doorbell in the list to open the floating windows. Notification In the home page of the client, tap Notification to get or edit alarm messages. Note The messages will be pushed automatically by enabling Message Push Notification. The client can receive the triggered alarm automatically when the doorbell is powered on by enabling Auto-Receive Alarm after Powering on. 13 POE & Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera User Manual 4 Remote Operation via Client Software You can configure the doorbell via Guarding Version Client Software remotely. 4.1 Activate Doorbell via Client Software You can activate the doorbell machine remotely through the client software. Steps 1. Run the client software and enter the device management page. The online device will be displayed in the online device list. In the online device list, select the device that needs to be activated, clicking Activate and the activation window will pop up. 2. 3. Enter and confirm the password, clicking OK to complete the doorbell activation. Note We highly recommend you to create a strong password of your own choosing
(using a minimum of 8 characters, including at least three kinds of following categories: upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product. And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system, resetting the password monthly or weekly can better protect your product. 4.2 Edit Network Parameters Steps 1. In the online device list, select the activated device and click Edit Device Network Parameters. Note The mobile client will automatically search for online devices in the LAN. 2. Edit IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and other information in the pop-up dialogue box. 3. Enter the password and click OK. 14 POE & Wi-Fi Doorbell Camera User Manual Note When setting IP address, please keep the IP address of doorbell and the IP address of computer in the same network segment. After editing the network parameters, the device needs to be re-added to the client. 4.3 Call Indoor Station The device supports connecting the indoor station. After configuring the number of the corresponding indoor station, the indoor station can be called. 4.3.1 Configure Indoor Station No. Steps 1. In the list of added devices, select the device, click Remote Configuration to enter the remote configuration page. 2. Add the doorbell to indoor station Add the doorbell as doorphone to the indoor station, you can realize some certain functions of the doorbell
(including, but not limited to, live view, and remote configuration) via indoor station. See Indoor Station User Manual for detail steps. Note If the doorbell has been added to the mobile client and indoor station, the indoor station can not be added to the mobile client. What to do next Make sure the Community No, Building No. and Unit No. of the doorbell should be the same as the indoor station. After configuring, you can press the doorbell button to call the indoor station. 16 UD12991B-A
